Anything from skin to hair and nails, etc.
I've heard of squeezing 1/2 a lemon and mixing with 1/4 cup water and wetting your hair and putting that on your hair, lightens it and adds natural blonde highlights. Have you tried it, does it work?
What are your remedies and secrets? :) thank you! What are some beauty secrets and remedies?
the lemon thing does work, i've tried it. it makes your hair glossy and it's pretty cheap too
lemon juice is also good for if you've been a bit too generous with the fake tan
crushed avacado on face is a great face mask - great if you've got dry skin
condition hair leave on and wrap around with towel. leave on for 30 minutes + wash out
exfoliate once a week to keep skin looking fresh and radiant
perfume yourself - you want to smell hot right?
make sure you're getting enough beauty sleep (that's atleast 8 hrs a night)
use anti-wrinkle creams religiously - you don't need anything too too expensive. boots no7 do a good one for 拢16
get yourself a DIY manicure - you'll look smart and sexy
putting olive oil on your eyelashes before bed will help them grow long and luscious
pluck eyebrows after showering - pores open up so it'll hurt less
shave in shower - less kinks and cuts
give yourself some ';me time'; every week
organise girly get togethers with your gfs every so often to catch up and get yourself pampered
actually use those seemingly useless beauty cream gift sets you get for your birthday or christmas
moisturise moisturise moisturise... again same as anti wrinkle cream, religiously
when you're 80 you'll thank yourself that you have good skin for your age
search the net for the hottest new beauty buys
don't trust people at the make-up counters, they want to sell remember :)
be yourself, don't overdo it, looking natural is way better than a Jodi Marsh wannabe
hope that helps--xWhat are some beauty secrets and remedies?
ok here it goes theres a lot of them but i will only name a few.....(and yes the lemon thing does work)
1.for smoky eyes i line my bottom lid semi-heavily, blink hard, and run a finger across the line. It smudges way faster and looks more 'I don't care' than the multi-stepped techniques.
2.i always apply foundation before concealer because if you go vice versa youll be wiping of the concealer
3.for hair so it can be healthy i wash it 2 to 3 times a week ( i know it seems gross but im not washing off any important natural vitamins of my hair)
4.for my nails To get super strong nails, keep them trimmed, push back your cuticles, always apply a clear coat, and never bite them
5.to make my lips look plump i apply a highlighting cream or powder right in the center of my bottom lip. or heat up a hand towel in the microwave for fifteen seconds, then rub my lips with the warm towel. Then, I apply lipstick and gloss and my lips look instantly plump
those are only some of them hope it helps :)
Well, I know for my skin, at night, before I go to bed and in the morning, I use ';St.Ives Apricot Scrub';. It exfoliates, takes the dead skin away, and opens up for the new to come out. It leaves your face feeling soft and clean.
If I don't have my Apricot Scrub, I use ';Clinique: Liquid Facial Soap (mild)'; It doesn't exfoliate, but it cleans up all the oils on your skin. Good right before makeup (if you wear makeup).
Before I go to bed at night, especially in the summer, I always put on Baby Powder all over my face. I have oily skin, so at night, sweating doesn't really help with zits at all. So thats why I used baby powder, preferably non perfumed baby powder. I never had a problem with zits after that.
Oh and in the morning, after my shower, I always put on ';Kiss My Face: Olive Oil %26amp; Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturizer';. It's fragrance free, and healthy for the skin. It's body lotion, but the brand is ';Kiss My Face';. :) I use it all over, and my body is as soft as a baby's bum, and it helps heal scars from all things. :) Doesn't clog your pores either. :)
Now, for my hair, I never blow dry it, and it turns out beautifully. I use this Garnier Fructis: Sleek %26amp; Shine kit. It comes with Shampoo, Conditioner, and a hair masque. The mask is simple. All you do is, after you wash and condition your hair, towel dry it, then apply the hair masque and rinse. My hair used to always be dry and frizzy, and barely get a brush through it, but with all 3 of those, my hair can be brushed any time of the day without hassle AND it's nice and sleek. :P NO FRIZZ!
THE BEST THING IS: ALL OF THESE ARE CHEAP AND YOU CAN BUY THEM AT WALMART.
Hope that helps a lot! ^_^
Take Care of yourself and be natural!
the lemon thing works let your hair be in the sunlight for at least 20 min probably after you put that on it works alot better! but i have blonde hair if u have brown it might turn ur hair orange...
oh and i always blowdry my hair from top to bottom going downwards it doesn't damage hair as bad and ceates less frizz!!
hope this helps
for hair loss
-sesame oil
-an egg
- some milk
- boil brennessel and use the tonic
mix all these, put on your hair and wait for 3 hours then wash with brennessel shampoo (optional)
do this 4 times a week for a month or two and you wont get hair loss for a loooong time.
1. crisco is a good moisturizer for dry scaly patches.
2. wiping your nails with isopropyl alcohol before putting on nail polish makes the polish last longer because it removes your oils.
