How does crying relate to beauty?

I have noticed recently that if I happen to cry about something late in the evening or in the morning the following day I get a lot of compliments on my looks (I never do usually) People will say, ';You look really pretty today.'; etc., This is the only time I get these compliments, can someone please offer an explanation or theory? How does crying relate to beauty?
Let us say that crying, the shedding of tears, may have a clearing freshening effect to the glow of your own eyes, of your own face. The emotion connected with the tears will also bring some more warmer light to your skin.

Also, within the warm throbbing vaults of your own chest, of your own soul, it may arouse an elating effect when some tears have been shed from your eyes.

You may feel released after crying, and thus have achieved some calmness of mind, therefore you may look fresher, some of the burden or pain that caused your tears being washed away or at least already much reduced.

Therefore you may look more beautiful after you have dried your tears, a person with a more glowing soul that will be noticed by others. Some people will dare tell you that you look fine, others will admire you furtively.

The ability to cry, to give free run to your own tears when necessary, is a precious healing or health-giving one, but, of course, it should never be turned into a shallow or capricious habit. How does crying relate to beauty?
I don't know but I do know when I have issues building up and I fight off crying tears over it, it shows on me. Not easily hidden on my face...

And when I do finally let it out, I feel so much better and ready take on what ever was making me feel this way to start.

It is almost like it had to happen to move forward... I know exactly what your saying... Just don't really have an answer other than you released a LOT of tension that was built up. So it shows... I have experienced this many times...

It reminds me of a poem I wrote too... lol! Sigh...
You could just be highlighting the events in your mind and ignoring the times you were complimented without crying.

To be honest the two are not related in ANY way.
Um just stick to your gut feeling and do whatever...
