It is called a ';beauty'; mark for a good reason. Beauty marks are beautiful and make you an individual. Who cares what other people think. Madonna, Cindy Crawford, etc all have them and I think they are gorgeous! How do you make your self esteem better if you have a beauty mark and people are making fun of you for it?
Do they not realise the name? BEAUTY mark.
A lot of people love beauty marks. It makes you unique, and they're cute. A lot of famous celebrities have them!
Marilyn Monroe, for instance. http://www.skinema.com/monroe.gif
So embrace it! It makes you beautiful! You don't want to look exactly like everyone else, do you?
I have a bunch on my face...I hate a couple of them as well. Honestly, you can get the lasered off if you want. The more you talk about them the more you won't like them %26amp; the more people will point them out to you.
If you ignore them %26amp; don't discuss them it doesn't give people that opportunity to talk about it...unless they just want to be an ****** about it. If that's the case you don't need to hang around those types of people anyway.
I use to have a beauty mark on my upper left cheek and I hated it!! no one made fun of me for it though because I always hid it behind my hair. I eventually got it surgically removed and I feel a lot better about myself now. If the mark is too deep, laser treatment won't work (it didn't work for me). I understand about having low self esteem issues because of it, I felt that way all the time when I had it. Since the laser treatment didn't work, I had it removed by knife. It didn't hurt because they numbed it with a shot first. They gave me like two stitches and that was it! It's considered a cosmetic surgery so your insurance won't cover it. and you know what's funny? When I got it removed my boyfriend told me that he had actually liked it! Hope this helped a bit.
I have a mole on my left shoulder. I used to hate it.. but now it doesn't bother me. you just have to learn to like it. its a part of you and it will always be there (unless you have it removed) now when i look in the mirror i don't even notice it anymore. its been there since i was born and now its just another normal thing.
