What type of pinay beauty do you find most attractive?

What type of pinay beauty do you find most attractive?

1) mestiza Someone who has that Spanish look and has light skin

2) Chinese Look- Someone who looks Chinese or has smaller eyes

3) Half-White- Someone with both Filipino and Western features

4) Filipino Look- Someone with typical Filipino features (dark skin)What type of pinay beauty do you find most attractive?

I guess, a cross of 2 and 4.What type of pinay beauty do you find most attractive?
In my humble opinion, I think all of them have their unique blend of beauty that stand out on its own.

Generally speaking, there are no race that's superior over any race in this world.

God created all of us, I know he looks from heaven and feels grief by the way we humans size and measure each other.
4. kayumanggi skin (brown)

you're insulting the Filipinas comrade. tell our master that mistakes have been rampant lately.

edit

noted comrade. prove yourself then.

you do not have to look far. see my/our comrades below
Since you mentioned pinay beauty, I prefer the typical pinay beauty - kayumanggi, dark hair, charming, somewhat shy.To those who wants combinations, read the question again.
I find when pinay's have 1 %26amp; 3 looks, they can be so so so so beautiful... it's the exotic look of being a mixed of cultures that's so attractive.
I prefer a Filipino look with a 25% Chinese and 12.5% Spanish 12.5% Half White.
1. Mestiza.
only one said #4... wtf

i find attractive girls attractive... theres nothing inherently special about either of the four mentioned...
I really like this girl in Philippines and she has the things in 3.

Note that I'm also Filipino.
the mestiza looking... at least she is still Filipino at heart, only she has that Spanish blood with her physique...
Filipino Look is the best.
The blacker the better and tiny.
3)

matches my wife.
I like that filipino dark look with the long straight pretty hair. That's hot !!!
3
dark skin,with wide flat nose.
i would choose mestiza,, atleast white skin, short and cute..

What are your favorite beauty tips?

Never can have enough of these!! I use baby oil instead of buying expensive eye makeup remover. Not really a beauty tip, but to clear up a heat rash between your boobs if you are busty like me, use diaper rash. What are your favorite beauty tips?
um...

well i learned that when you put on eyeliner, you shuld start at the outer end of your eye and draw little dashes as close as you can to your eyelid across. then connect them. it makes a straight line...

and when you curl your eyelashes, pump at the base adn then 'walk' it out. it really curls them, esepcially if you curl after you put on mascara (i know thats bad, but i do it anyway haha)

um...i guess thats it =)What are your favorite beauty tips?
Drink lots of water and wear sunscreen every day.

Don't use fake tan.

Why did my Black Beauty Eggplants turn green?

I've searched and can't find an answer. All of my eggplants where just beautiful except the last two on this one plant. They started out purple as they should and then kept getting greener and greener. They were not soft nor hard. Except for the color they were about perfect size and firmness. Does anyone know what happened and if they are any good to eat? Why did my Black Beauty Eggplants turn green?
Don't eat them now they started to ripen because you left them on the plant too long. They would taste unpleasantly bitter.

Do all ladies in Malaysia use botox to enhance their beauty?

Did your girlfriends or wives tell you guys so?Do all ladies in Malaysia use botox to enhance their beauty?
I use them to strengthen the skin near my horn so that my horn does not fall off when i'm old. Mad cow boleh.Do all ladies in Malaysia use botox to enhance their beauty?
just natural beauty of malaysian ladies
I don't think so. I wouldn't.like Michelle Yeoh I don't think she does
No. Absolutely not. It is expensive and not all the ladies can afford the botox. By the way, Malaysian ladies don't really need a botox because they look young and pretty in their mid 40s. Some celebrities use botox though but they needed it for their career and they can afford so who cares?
Botox is awful! Don't think anyone should even think about getting it done.
I don't know and it doesn't really bother me. Most natural beauties I've came across are fans of jamu and spa products, but not BOTOX...

My girlfriend says that I've got sexy buttocks... does that count too?
I know like hundreds Malaysian ladies and none of them ever used botox. Me? No thanks, but who knows in the future hehe...
BoToX???

I think more on full package leh.

Inside out is much much better then outside in. hehehe...

Don't think far far away oh.

Only the face value.
Dude, if ALL ladies in Malaysia turn to botox then plenty would ';look beautiful'; like Taiwan, Korean %26amp; Hollywood land.

I don't think not even 80% of Malaysian ladies would go for botox even if they can afford it, that's why you see many women aging naturally with wrinkles, saggy *ahem* %26amp; uneven skin texture.
As a Malaysian lady, I can honestly and truthfully swear to tell you that not a single woman I know have gone for botox. So, I don't know where you get your idea? Maybe you have seen a lot of pretty girls in Malaysia and you assume that most of them have undergone botox? Well, I can say that you are dead wrong, my friend.

Period.
dont wanna tell u who did it :P

Guys: What do you start to think if a girl all the sudden starts buying a bunch of beauty products and clothes?

What is your favorite beauty product you've ever used, and why?

Shampoo, lotion, face wash, makeup, hair tools... anything! What's your favorite and why? Everyone that answers will get a thumbs up, and we'll all learn about some good products without wasting money trying things that don't work.

Also include products you DIDN'T like if you want. Also good to know! What is your favorite beauty product you've ever used, and why?
    Well my favorites are:

Bath and Body Works Antibacterial Hand Lotion---makes my hands soft and kills germs at the same time! My favorite scent is sea island cotton!

Garnier Shine Spray Thingy--I forget exactly what it's called, but it makes my hair super shiny and sleek.

Loreal HIP cream eyeliner--I have it in the purple color and it's great!

Queene Helene Mint Julep Masque--Makes my pores small and face smooth. Love it BUT it's extremely minty and sometimes over-tingly, I don't recommend for dry or tight skin.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse--I use it as concealer on blemishes and under eyes only because it has thick coverage. I don't recommend it for dry skin because it makes the dry spots on my face in the winter look flaky and chalky.

    What I don't like:

Maybelline Great Lash mascara. It's so overhyped. It smudges everywhere and its weird wet consistency made my lashes feel really heavy. What is your favorite beauty product you've ever used, and why?
eyeshadow primer -- URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTIONN its bomb because it helps eyeshadow stay with no smudging, no flaking, no nothing until the moment you remove your eye makeup.

best lotion -- bath%26amp;body works b/c it smells so nice ++ the moisturizing side of it works so well!

as well as The Body Shop's Body Scrubs -- moisturizing stuff never wears off! very longwearing .

Face wash -- Philosophy Purity Cleanser %26gt; been using it since tiiiiiiime and it removes acne ! just depends on how stubborn your acne is to disappear. ahah

    :)
FLIRT! eyeliner and dreamy eyes powder eyeshadow are amazing. the eyeliner in ';brownie points'; with the shadow in ';witchy'; makes a great neutral look for me. clean and clear deep action foaming facial wash and the dual action mosturizer too.

i dislike proactiv. it's too hyped up. it works, but it's too harsh on skin sometimes.
I cannot live without TWEEZERS !!! Tweezers are a remarkable instrument as long as they are paired with a magnifying mirror. I use them both everyday, i can't live without the tweezers though, they get to all the important places.
Well I used Bio-Oil to minimize the appearance of acne scars and it really works. I like the way it makes my skin soft too.

Would you say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder?

I sure do, not everyone likes the same things.Would you say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder?
Absolutely, one person's trash is another's treasure.Would you say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder?
Absolutely, people find beauty in people and things that others cannot. I find beauty in lizards, like the Iguana and others don't see it for example. I think they're amazing and strikingly cute.
    No, When someone is truly '; Cute'; like Jessica Alba Everyone knows it, Everyone sees it. That line is for borderline cute girls that only a handful of people would see as pretty to make them feel better. it's all about being ';PC';
    Oh for sure.

Most people would never look twice at my BF. He isn't bad looking, just not ';good looking'; - and yet to me he is simply the most breath taking and erotic thing I have ever seen....and I've seen a few.
yes and then there are those people that EVERYONE is attracted too.
i would have to agree with you.

lots of people define ';beauty'; as something different.
    oh most definitely
    definately
    sure, whatever that means. :P
Absolutely.. I tend to like shaggy longish hair on a guy, and my best friend can look at hair like that and say 'ew.'.
    Of course.

For example, I think Rob Pattinson is vomit-inducing while other girls prefer to drool when they see him.
    sure
    it is the first attraction
    I agree
I agree. People tend to have different tastes.
    yep.

Do you know what are the consequences of the exess beauty?

i would like to know your opinions ,because i 'm writing about that topic. what are some bad or good effects too much surgery,go to the gym,go to the hairstylist, and other ways to be beauty or handsome.Do you know what are the consequences of the exess beauty?
Too much narcissism(self concentration) can result in:

    1) surgery; you can basically look like ur face is made of plastic

    2) too much going to the gym: you could look all bulk like arnold shwartzneggger and then when you stop ..you still look like him..saggyyyy (all your muscle turns to water)

3)going to the hairstlyist to often (no matter how good they are)..they won't tell you to stop cuz..well they need the money..so you'll always leave with a bunch of chemicals in your hair,, yah you could brag that your hair costs this much..but when you take a shower and get rid of the chemicals it'll look like its cost less than a dollar

    4) if your to obsessed of you health or you eat too well and never pig out..you could end up in the hopsital and your blood could become to thin enough to sustain your body.. and develop like anemia or somethingDo you know what are the consequences of the exess beauty?
Usually, when people become so obsessed with looking their best, they always think they can look better that what they already are and they have this twisted mind set that they are ugly or too fat and that's why some people have eating disorders or become addicted to plastic surgeries and diet pills. It's sad ;(
well with the gym, u might become so skinny that people might think your anorexic

with the surgery, unless its an emergancy dont do that, it'll make you look SUPER fake

with the hairstylist, your hair might be super damaged.

    thts all i got.

btw: can u answer my question?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
Absolute depression like you've never experienced it.

I think it means reaching rock bottom and the point where your soul and personality is worth nothing. Only your outside counts, which is not the real you.

So it's like living a lie...Sad and depressing.
yea, they don't have time to do anything else!

they're pretty people with no life?

Why do many girls take up modelling and beauty pagenats instead of things like education, which REALLY matter?

Why do some (not all girls) strut half naked down a catwalk with millions of men staring at them? Have they lost their modesty or something!?!?!

SO why do some girls take up these things instead of becoming doctors or authors or something useful? Why do many girls take up modelling and beauty pagenats instead of things like education, which REALLY matter?
Not everyone is cut out to be a doctor or an author. Just like not everyone is cut out to be a model.

BTW, my friend runs a modeling agency, and all the girls there have lots of fun at events, and they're really just saving money and having fun while they go to school. If you could make $600 a week JUST OFF YOUR WEEKEND WORK and go to school full time during the week, wouldn't you? These girls aren't dumb... on the contrary it sounds like they've got a pretty good deal going on.Why do many girls take up modelling and beauty pagenats instead of things like education, which REALLY matter?
Because education is geeky and boring. In university you learn about rubbish that you don't care about and neither do you need know about.

However, modeling and beauty pageants might be considered more ';fun'; but most smart girls can't be bothered with all that because its a waste of time. So they pick the education option.

All of my friends went into education. I don't know any that went into modeling. Maybe you know a lot of tarty girls. I don't really.
Education require brains. Cat walk only need skinny body and good looks and it pays a lot for short while.

Most women in west do not believe in

    1. Modesty

    2. Shame

    3. Hayah

In west these qualities disqualify women for attracting men with money.

There are few people in west who value the above qualities.

Most men in west look for

    1. Beautiful and fat free body of femals

    2. Good Facial features

    3. Good height

    4. Fair skin color

Now a day even Muslim young men raised in west look for above four qualities and don't care for Modesty, Shame, Hayah and Hijab.
Well, that really depends on the girl.

Anyway, our society glorifies fame, fortune, sex, and beauty. Modelling and beauty pageants can bring them just that.

But it is extremely hard to get famous through that and many girls end up getting hurt physically and mentally.
some girls need to feel pretty because they have no self esteem

some girls have to do it because their mothers had no self esteem in themselves

some girls do it for money or tuition grants

some girls do it because they like dressing up

but i dont think any of these reasons are very good reasons to strut around in front of nasty old men. they might as well be strippers
    Dear chill,

every person have their own perception. that's why every person is different from each other . they do it bcoz they like it, i thing we should respect every1 feeling. i know it sometimes awards 2 see them like that, but look at the positive side, 2day majority of girls go for doctor, engineer, layer etc. so why think of those few girls %26amp; get irritated.
I would rather eat dirt than be what your so called modest is. Being a model or being in a beauty pageant does not mean your a **** or your lowering yourself. And being a doctor and or a author does not mean your modest and righteous. Not every girl wants to be or do the same thing. Grow up.
So, every woman should be the same, have the same goals, minds, wear clothes and have careers you say are ';appropriate';. You are a chauvinistic, misogynist. Here is a question for you, how come so many men have E.D. or go bald, get pot bellies, don't make a lot of $?
They are deluded into thinking that this is the best life they can have. How glamorized is modelling and so forth? That is being fed to them every single day of their lives. They are completely blind and deluded. and society makes them like that
It is all about popularity. Fame. Fortune. I know that you can have that being a doctor or author but they chose to do that ;]

They like people to be impressed about them.
    answer my question instead

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
I suppose it is some sort of validation that they are pretty . Whatever the reason , many women achieved a very comfortable lifestyle for themselves by concentrating mainly on their outer beauty .
You need time, brain, effort %26amp; money to become some thing good (doc, author %26amp;......) %26amp; make a fortune.

U only need to expose to be a model or a beauty pageant.
If you got it flaut it - easy money.

The punters want to see them.

The girls like to show off so why does it bother you so much.
well they get fame and fortune.

who wants to be a teacher with below average salary when they can be a model that is famous and is rich

I still think that he's gay. Whether or not he fell in love with Claire's character is another matter entirely, but I like that the movie left it somewhat ambiguous.

The same. A beauty mark is a mole and vice versa.

Juice Beauty or Eminenece Organics for Superior and Excellent Skin Care and why?

What are the cons and pros of both, if there's any? And your own review of them?

Thank you!Juice Beauty or Eminenece Organics for Superior and Excellent Skin Care and why?
I have never used Juice Beauty, but I am a big fan of Eminence Organics.

I have used Eminence products for almost 2 years now and I just feel good about using the products. I have noticed a difference in my skin texture and tone, but then I wasn't moisturizing regularly before using Eminence because I didn't like the way that the products felt on my skin or the ingredients in them.

Why does God bless women with ridiculous beauty?

To the extent that people don't even look see what's on the inside of the person. Why does God bless women with ridiculous beauty?
';God'; doesn't do anything, but it's an evolutionary advantage for helping to procreate the species. Why does God bless women with ridiculous beauty?
IMO...beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and several advertising agencies. Everyone is beautiful in their own right. I think one of the issues is that those who do not fit the preconcieved notion of what beauty is advertised to be get intimidated

We are also a shallow society, and that needs to change. IMO..our shallowness is one of the reasons why we are in the condition we are in.

Questions like this one will lead our society to change, we desperately need to.

    Thank you.
I don't believe that we can't see what's inside of a ridiculously beautiful woman. Believe me, I know some ridiculously beautiful women, and I know which ones are arrogant snobs and which ones are inwardly nice people.

We must simply get to know these women. Once we do, it's easy to tell.
he gives people beauty depending on the personality he gave them, i think that he made the less confident people more beautiful to make them more out going and to make people try to get to know the person on the inside that otherwise would have been to shy to come out and the people who are out going and confident don't need beauty
Everyone has his or her own cross to bear. If beauty is seen as a distraction to serving God, then it's a curse - because of vanity and unwanted attention it could bring. You must realize, though - that not all of that beauty is natural, some is man-made!
Beauty is culturally defined. What is beautiful in one time or place is not so in another. So, a woman who was considered beautiful in Australia in the year 1009 might not be found so in Russia this year.

This question is very local in its concern.
He blessed women with beauty because his feels they deserve it, but when a man doesn't seem to focus on the inside it's not his fault women are lovely and it can be overwhelming at times and make you not think straight and relate to them how you know you should.
Beauty is with the eye of the beholder. Just because someone thinks your cute doesn't mean I would you are cute.

Look at Barack Obama- a lot of women find him pleasing to the eyes.

Look at JFK- a lot of women thought he was handsome and even some guys think he is handsome.
    It is genes.

God does not care about physical beauty. He looks to the inside. It is humans that care about physical beauty.
It's only DNA, mostly chance. But it's done to act as a test of people's morals. If people are able to judge the beautiful person on their morals, the judge passes!
To me the important question is why some people get so caught up in physical appearance that they never think about what's in a person's heart.
well men are macho and strong so we need that cool look and women are earths pretty people but guys can look sexy to. some are scumbags
Original Sin curses humans with optionally uncontrollable lust.
For the same reason the hottest girls in the world are all lesbians.
Beauty is what we humans think and what it to be.
It's not a blassing then is it? To only be seen as meat in a frenzy of hormones would be a curse in my opinion.
God loves all his children the same.

He does not care what they look like.
Your god concept is a myth.
He blesses them because the woman was his last creation and it was like the grand finale
god luves all his child alike and he does look at da outside he looks on da inside
Don't know, but I'm glad he / she did.
    Sometimes it's more of a curse. j/k
I haven't figured that one out yet.
who knows knows but im glad he did im so pretty
    from a man's or woman's perspective.?

What do you think of child beauty pageants?

I think there is nothing wrong with doing them as long as the mom/dad is pushing them.I do pageants and I hardly ever see someone pushing their daughter to do the pageants when she doesnt want toWhat do you think of child beauty pageants?
if the kid truely enjoys it, why not?

if its the parent trying to live vicariously though the child, THATS when it gets messed up.

the only thing i wish in both cases is that they focused more on NATURAL beauty. a 4 year old does not need a spray tan and enough hairspray to drug a horseWhat do you think of child beauty pageants?
I think they are awful. Those pageants do not judge the beauty of that child....they judge the beauty of the dress that child is wearing, and the beauty of some makeup artists work because those little girls are wearing layers and layers of heavy stage makeup. Some of them even have fake dental work to put it, to cover it up when they have lost their baby teeth. How ridiculous! Losing baby teeth is a part of growing up, and a part of that child's history, so therefore THAT is what is beautiful. Those kids are learning early that beauty is what's important. Well, I sure hope that someone is also teaching them that an education is important. Beauty doesn't last forever, but an education damn sure does.
I wouldn't personally do the beauty pageant thing with my daughter. Even when she wanted to, I just felt that it gives her the wrong ideas about what is important. I had a friend whos daughter wanted to just do it for fun, but it gets really competitive sometimes and it really didn't do her a lot of good. Now she worries more about what she looks like than school and other things. But that's just my thought on it.
i think that parents need to instill in their children that there's so much more than just what's on the outside. Also i hate to see young girls (4,5,6 and so on) being told by their mommies to do these pageants and putting on pounds of makeup, fake eyelashes, 2 piece bathing suits and parading them around and having them shake their butts. it's horrible. Teaching your children to be self confident is one thing (that's very important) but it's also scary with so many child preditors and such. i wouldn't put my child in pageants. but that's just me.
    ';I think there is nothing wrong with doing them as long as the mom/dad is pushing them.';

Oh, as long as they are pushing them????

Beauty pageants are wrong for young children. Sorry. Dressing them up and putting make up on, they look fake, they look like porcelain dolls.

If it is a beauty pageant, then why all the make-up? Why can't these pageants be based on NATURAL beauty? Why do you have to make a child look fake??

Sorry, but there are too many perverts and criminals out there. I don't agree putting young little girls and boys out there for them to see. Look at what happened with Jon Bennet Ramsey???
I really have mixed feelings about it. The really little girls wearing globs of makeup and getting tans and so on is a little crazy. I like the natural ones for really little girls and when the girls are old enough to decide if they like it or not probably around age 4 and then IF they want to do the more glam ones with makeup and so on I think its fine as long as they parents do not push it. Something about babies and toddlers wearing makeup though makes me think its not right.
Personally, I think its like anything else, whether it be sports, dancing, singing, playing an instrument, etc. as long as the child enjoys doing it and is having fun, then its okay. Once it becomes a chore and the fun goes away, its time to find something else.

That being said, I have a hard time not criticizing ';child beauty pageants'; that include a bathing suit portion. Honestly, what's the point? At that point its glorified child soft porn if you ask me.
I think they're very wrong on many levels.

What message are you sending your daughter? That she has to wear makeup and fake tan and wear fake teeth? That she's only as important as how beautiful she looks?

The only thing a child that age should be worrying about is playing with dolls, and making friends, and doing well in school. Putting such a big emphasis on beauty at such a young age is so damaging to a child's psyche. She'll only ever see herself as a piece of meat to be judged instead of as an intelligent human being
Pageants are a circus where you put your child on stage, and dress them in stupid dresses, and make up that makes them look like barbie dolls.

The you promote to them, that beauty is what matters, and as long as you smile, and come up with a dumb, sweet answer to a questions then your set for life.

I did child pageants and modeling as a young child
My daughter does pageants and she loves them. She was the one who asked me to be in them. They make her happy,so I dont see anything wrong with them. The day that she tells me that she wants to quit that'll be the end of it.Last year she cut herself and was depressed and pageants have raised her self-esteem so much.
well, it depends. if the child is not being forced and it's just used as something fun for the child then i don't see it as a problem. however when i see shows like 'toddlers in tiara's' on TLC then i think it's going overboard. the way they make up their kids and make them do 'tricks' that even the parents can't do.
    You did ask.

    I think they are horrific.

Little girls already are messed up enough in the self esteem department---but to introduce them to the world of ';pleasing'; as a life style from childhood? Awful.

When the whole Jon Bonet thing happened 16 years back, the underbelly of pageant life was briefly revealed...and i found it sickening.

The whole ';glamour and glitz'; nonsense is embarrassing, and to teach little girls to be pseudo adults is insane.

    You did ask.
Never for my kids. I plan to teach them values. You know, like that looks aren't everything? And you shouldn't judge someone because of the way they look? I plan to teach my children to be kind individuals, not put them in a ';sport'; that reminds them to be vain and constantly obsessed with the way they look.
My sister was a pageant child. Not pushed into them but truly enjoyed them. It depends on what pageants a child is entering and what the focus of the child and parents are. There are many small pageants that do NOT objectize small children. We simply see far too many that do.
I think if the child is old enough to ask and truly wants to do them, it's one thing. If they are a baby or the parents are pushing them and the child doesn't want to, it's all for the parents.
As long as there isn't a swimsuit section. Something about those little ones parading around in bikinis and winking at judges, its just well, wrong.
I think they're awful. Oh....lets judge little kids on how pretty they are! Yeah, those kids won't have self-esteem issues at allll.
    Personally, they make me sick.
Their a waste of time, Little kids aren't supposed to be pushed into all that pressure and stuff

  • What should she do about this ';beauty mark';?

My sister is really self conscience about a ';beauty mark'; on her breast. Doctors say that they could remove it, but it would leave a large, dark scar. Which would be better: leave the beauty mark and have her be insecure, or remove it and have a scar? What should she do about this ';beauty mark';?
If she's insecure about it as a beauty mark, she's sure to be at least doubly so with it as a scar. She should really leave it be, and try to think of it in a different light. It's unique, and it simply gives her body character - that's what beauty marks are for, after all.

If she just can't handle it, it's better to just get some makeup to cover it than undergo the surgery; what's the point in removing it if there will be a scar that's just as noticeable (if not more so) in the exact same place? What should she do about this ';beauty mark';?
it's just a beauty mark. she should just leave it. it's not like on her face or anything.
well shes probably already used to her mark so she should just leave it alone cuz what if the scar looks even nastier. Then again its all up to her:)
    scar
i think i will have 2 see that mark in order 2 give a better opinion.
LEAVE the mark and conceal it with concealer or foundation. its safer and no permanent scar

They are great because they are updated daily and all of their offers are ';catch free';, that means no long surveys, no pay offers. They also have a e-mailing list where they send you the free samples listed on their site. I use that so I get them in my email (but IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO GET THE FREE SAMPLES). Their descriptions are pretty funny too! If you are looking for a specific type of free sample, there is a categories list and a search bar right above categories so that you can do searches.

Never ever ever, no matter how tired you are, go to bed without washing your face. Don't smoke.....anything. Keep your hands off of your face, period. No matter how tan you may want your body to be, and you are young and will do that no matter what we say, at least buy a big brimmed hat and a pair of Dior sunglasses and one of those cute little wrap around sarong things to wear at the beach. Hey, the mystery girls are always the sexiest. Whatever you do....don't tan your face. Wear a bronzer instead. Exercising and eating healthy won't protect you from the sun, and it is your very worst enemy. Take it from this 63 year old lady who spent her life in it and is paying the price.
In addition to what you have said, don't smoke because it ages your skin, especially around the mouth. Drink a lot of water to keep your skin hydrated and if possible, don't get too much sun. Sun not only makes your skin look leathery in your old age, but you may get skin cancer like a friend of mine did. She was absolutely gorgeous as a young person, but got skin cancer and it has come back several times. She goes to schools now and talks to teens about the dangers of too much sun. Wen you do go out, put on a good sun screen. I know this is hard for a young person to understand, but it is part of what you need to hear if you want to keep your skin pretty.
I've been told that despite my age I have great skin. I was a real redhead at one time (before going gray). I have that very milky white skin that is very sensitive and burns easily. I recommend to everyone regardless of their skin type, that when they are young to stay out of the sun. Getting a golden tan now will result in premature aging of the skin and that means wrinkles! Also, drink lots of water and get 8 hours of sleep. Water and sleep do wonders for the skin. Also, stay away from cigarettes and alcohol...both are bad for the skin. Always were sunscreen. I go for the big stuff...SPF 70. I like Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock. It's non-grease, light weight and waterproof.
Moisturize and be sure to use natural looking color and tones when choosing lipstick or makeup. I think to use the same red rouge from yester year only adds to age.

The trick is to capitalize on your features rather than emhasize age.

Joan Collins says we should never wear blue eye makeup after a certain age.
Lmao im in highschool too and im sorry i say gay sometimes and i like that you attempt to make fun of me cuz im in junior high even though as i said im not. i hate people who say others are too little and annoying even if your only like 2 years older. Congratulations on being wrong though
Be in love, then love, love, and more love.

Be happy have a nice relaxed life.

Who cares about a few wrinkles when you are

a senior, they go with the territory.

If you have been unhappy that will show more in

your face than a bit of sun.
I do exercise every day by going up and down the stairs. I don't use creams on my face, just Ponds once maybe twice a week at night, that is because I wear make-up every day. I eat anything and like to walk. Poppy
make water your drink of choice, dont drink your calories. keep the stress way down, laugh a lot and love a lot. sleep eight hours a night, sleep is underrated, dont wear a lot of makeup.
Stay out of the sun, don't smoke, eat healthy and get as much exercise as you can fit into your schedule. Try to live a stress free life. I know that's impossible but stress definitely ages us!
Stay out of the sun when you can. They finally have proof that the tanning beds increase your chances of cancer by 75% I read this evening. I also think adequate rest for body and soul is crucial.
    hydration!

Drinking water (at any age) is one of the simplest - and most necessary - ';beauty'; treatments available.
A friendly, pleasant personality is the most gorgeous thing you can possess.
Stay outta the SUN for Gawd's sakes !!!!!
Stay out of the sun, Don't smoke. Exercise. Eat healthy at least 75% of the time.
Whole foods, exercise and good old olive oil instead of creams.

Sleep and Water, lots and lots of water
wash my face and take a shower. I try to stay natural with makeup. If I'm in the mood, I might accent my eyes with a light brush-over of eyeliner. But natural beauty is the most beautiful. It took me a while to figure that out, and sometimes I struggle with that still. But true beauty comes from within and if you are beautiful inside, then that will radiate out.
Drink lots of water and moisturize your face every day with a light, non-oily moisturizer.
wear sun screen and not smoke to stay wrinkle free
I don't know what the most important thing to do is, but i always make sure I drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep.

How do you look pretty without using make up or any beauty products?

smile :-)How do you look pretty without using make up or any beauty products?
First of all if you're confident then you're gorgeous!

    Take care of your hair.

Get it trimmed regularly (search on-line for colours and styles that best fit your face shape and hair type).

Always brush it, but not too much..100 strokes every night is a myth that will only break your hair.

Try straightening it to the side, or curling it wavy.

If you wish to dye your hair, make sure it's one that suits your skin tone--2 shades darker or lighter than the natural color of your hair.

    See to your skin.

Use moisturizer suited to your skin type every day.

Use a facial scrub at least once a week.

you have pimples or other face irritation, use an acne formula that won't dry out your skin. Nobody likes scale-like skin!

If you have pimples, do not pick them, it may lead to scarring. If you already have, gently exfoliate regularly to smoothen the scars out a bit.

Keep up to date with fashion magazines--but mix whats new with what you've got,add some of your own style to whats hip and hot, after all we don't want to be clones.

Pick clothes that flatter your body, but don't go too far. People get the wrong impression if you show too much skin. You can be cute and look conservative at the same time! Try a pair of jeans and a nice sweater,or a skirt, make sure your shoes go with the outfit.

Flatter a 'blah' outfit with accessories, but don't over-accessorize! Try a headband or a cute necklace. Remember, less is more.

If you want to feel sexy, try something a little different, like a new skirt or new pair of underwear, but don't go overboard. Don't try to wear clothes that don't fit you. If it's too small, or too big, get it tailored or return it. Buy clothing which flatters you, and creates a lean, curvaceous line.

Smile! Making the effort to smile every once in a while will make you feel better about yourself, and make others feel positive. You can even practice smiling in the mirror--it'll be a great start to your day and set you off in the right mood. You never know who is appreciating your smile!

Stand up straight. This makes you look like you respect yourself, and others will follow your lead. Plus, it has the visual effect of smoothing out any bulges that aren't particularly flattering. Posture is important and can make you look more attractive.

Understand the value of inner beauty. There are ';pretty'; people in this world, and after talking to a few of them, you can begin to think that they aren't so pretty. A bad attitude towards others can make you seem really ugly inside, and make people stop paying attention to who you are on the outside. So remember that all the makeup in the world won't help if you are unhappy and negative towards others. Respect yourself, respect others and you will feel and look great.

Feel good about yourself. When you feel good, you look good. Have confidence. People are attracted to and feel comfortable with people who respect themselves. Liking yourself and respecting yourself doesn't mean you are conceited, it just shows others that you are happy about your appearance. A fun, light personality makes everyone comfortable. Be yourself, be warm to others, and feel great. Soon enough, others are bound to notice.

If your friends give you positive compliments, don't try to change them into negative ones, accept them and use them to make you feel even better. Expressing a modest ';thank you'; is much healthier than putting yourself down.

Exercise. Everyone loves someone who respects themselves and cares for their body. Looking great doesn't mean makeup and clothes and all that jazz, it means feeling good about yourself and staying healthy. Exercise for an hour or half hour at the least every day, and drink 8 glasses of water daily. The water helps you get a nice glow in your skin and makes your complexion much more clear. If you don't have time to get to the gym one day, try incorporating 40 minutes of brisk walking - this can be as simple as walking around on coffee and lunch breaks for 20 minutes at a time or even walking to work or school instead of driving or taking the bus. Any sports that you find interesting are nice, but if you don't play a sport find an exercise that fits you.

Get enough sleep. This will help you to always look your best. Regular sleeping patterns help your body to effectively regenerate and feel great the next day!

Body Brush everyday. Body brushing is just when you get a plastic(synthetic) or natural bristle brush and rub it in circular motions all over your body, working from the feet upwards and working towards the heart. It helps tone skin, reduce cellulite and it removes all the dead skin which makes you glow! Its best to do it in the morning, because it wakes you up. Make sure to always do it on dry skin.

Maintain good dental hygiene - Brush your teeth after every meal, floss twice daily, use mouth wash, and remember: the more you brush, the better it is. However, don't brush hard - you may think it cleans your teeth better, but it's only damaging them. However, make sure you don't brush until at least 10 minutes after your meal. This can damage your enamel, which will never grow back! If you don't have time to wait, rinse your mouth with water instead. Whiten your teeth. Everyone looks better with whiter teeth, and it's not very expensive if you buy the strips you can apply yourself.

Calculate your body mass index (BMI) to know your healthy weight range. Don't become obsessed with an absolute number or compare your weight to that of others.

Remove unwanted body hair. Depending on cultural preference, wax, shave, or pluck your leg hairs, bikini line (if you are going to be seen in underwear), armpits, eyebrows, and upper lip.

Smile with your eyes. The eyes are the window into one's soul, so if you smile with your eyes, people will immediately be drawn to you.How do you look pretty without using make up or any beauty products?
taking care of your skin well... avoiding the sun's extensive rays, being careful of what you eat--no junkfoods and sodas, and keep your body hydrated. sweat every once in a while by exercising to keep off the toxins... drinking tea also helps, as it cleans up your internals, it will show externally...
I apply heavy grease paint makeup. The heavier the better.
Wash your face and moisturize! I use tonic in the morning to help tighten up my face a bit.But I am in my late 20s..Pretty is as pretty does!
    -clothing style

    -hairstyle

    -adding accessories

    -good personality
I don't hahaha. But I guess wear something cute and make sure you're showered and smell decent.
Drink lots water, if you drink n smoke then leave it now, sleep in time and wok up in early morning, drink fresh juice, also if it possible then apply juice on face after 30 minutes wash out with water (orange and apple juice is good for this).
drink lots of water, sleep early then when you wake up feel beautiful!!
Eating good food(fruits) and taking juices make u fair and good looking and wash ur face as many times as u can get back to home from outside ..

  • Different questions about the negative effects of Beauty Pageants?

    1. What do pageants aim to illustrate?

    2. What is the importance of having Beauty Pageants?

    3. What is the importance of the swimsuit competition?

    4. Why is it important to know both the good and bad effects of beauty pageants?Different questions about the negative effects of Beauty Pageants?
I think they are completely fine for adults, for grown women who can get scholarships and other things from it. Personally I see nothing wrong with them..

I really hate those child ones though, it freaks me out and I don't think kids should have to act like adults because their parents couldn't live that dream... Gives me shivers.Different questions about the negative effects of Beauty Pageants?
    1. What do pageants aim to illustrate? - That one girl is better than the others, being a combination of looks, communication, and talent (pretty much in that order).

    2. What is the importance of having Beauty Pageants? - Hmm, it's a creative outlet for the parents? But they would say it's to improve their daughter's self-esteem.

    3. What is the importance of the swimsuit competition? - To have the girl reduced to nothing but their shape. They can't hide behind a pretty ball-gown and nobody will be looking at how pretty her smile is.

    4. Why is it important to know both the good and bad effects of beauty pageants? - It promotes competition (good), but there are so many other things that aren't so superficial like dancing, drama, or any other sort of competition like team sports, chess, music etc. Pageants are the most controversial and unhealthiest.
I don't know about illustrating much. They're a strange but durable tradition with their own subculture. It's a beauty parade; people have always admired and been fascinated by beauty. But it's also a fascinating window into the venality and exploitation that surround any attempt to market the appearance of others or to sell one's own appearance. The fascination it exerts is somewhere between a fashion parade and a peep show.

Although the best-known ones are Miss Universe etc. and the competitors are young women, there are many others out there. Mr Universe, Mrs Universe, Mr and Mrs Universe (a doubles event), most countries' individual pageants, probably Mr Transexual Universe, all the way down to the Miss Insert Name of Local Brewery at the state fair.

There isn't any importance as far as I know. Except maybe for the advertisers and sponsors as a money-making opportunity, and for the contestants who try to win scholarships and contracts to ';represent'; various products as well as cash prizes.

The swimsuit competition is the most ';meat-market'; and sleazy part of the show. Again, ';importance'; is probably too serious a word for this.

Why is it important to know about the effects? I have no idea. Maybe to make your teacher happy? Or to address questions of self-worth being connected to others' judgment of one's appearance?

If I were doing an investigative story on pageants I would probably take a look at the judges. Where do they get them? Who says ';I want to grow up to be a beauty pageant judge'; and wouldn't that seem a bit creepy?

The place where the boundary between perving and wholesome admiration gets blurred is probably the most interesting part of the whole thing.
    1. They aim to illustrate excellent examples of the female form.

    2. They generate advertising income and they are fun to watch and

    participate in.

    3. To show the figures of the women

    4. There are no bad effects of beauty pageants that I'm aware of

Some feminists and religious extremists are troubled by the idea of men having 'impure' thoughts about women so they oppose beauty contests. These feminists and religious extremists must think that men are animals who should be shielded from excitement to avoid terrible consequences for women!
(1). aim is to illustrate beauty of women, gather the most beautiful women and see who has got the best proportions, facial attractiveness etc.

    (2) there is no importance. its just a competition to rate people.

    (3) to check the body out. the figure, legs, belly, butts, breasts. all these are things that make up the physical attractiveness of a woman. men love to watch also because of this. men are better able to rate a womans beauty if her body is showing. they get more viewers and more money

    (4) there are probably little good or bad effects. whats the good and bad effects of any competition? of an competition that measures INTELLIGENCE lets say...not all ppl are intelligent...would it make non intelligent people SAD? not al ppl can play sports...will a sports competition make them sad?
This is such a great interesting question. We don't really have beauty competitions like this in England.

I think as long as people take them with a pinch of salt they are OK. I know quite a few of the feminists that won't agree with them but I think it's a nice competition and gives girls the chance to show off their beauty. I suppose the swimsuit competition is to show off who has the best body which is probably not so good (as their is the whole role model for young girls and size 0 nightmare - which is wrong).

Any girl should be allowed to enter one of these competitions be her short, thin or fat. Society deem that thin girls are more attractive but this is rubbish. There are beautiful women of ALL shapes and sizes.

I totally for it but I wouldn't ever take it seriously.

Sorry, I hope I answered your questions.
As someone already mentioned, we don't really have beauty pageants in England, to my knowledge...*waits for a burn about English looks* So anyway, I'm not really aware of what said pageants illustrate (I would've supposed beauty from the name). My only knowledge on this subject could be derived from the film ';Miss Congeniality'; and the documentary ';Tears, Tiaras and Transexuals';; I do not believe these sources will provide me with a very realistic view of most of these pageants :P
    1. Shallowness, self centeredness, misguided priorities

    2. None.

    3. To parade females across a stage like sides of meat

    4. To hopefully discourage other mothers from putting their daughters through this in the future.

If you had a choice between wisdom, beauty, and riches, which would you choose?

I would choose wisdom, because wisdom is always there and it grows, whereas beauty vanishes with time, and so may riches. If you had a choice between wisdom, beauty, and riches, which would you choose?
Wisdom, in the end, you win out. It's not the goods of this earth that bring happiness...If you had a choice between wisdom, beauty, and riches, which would you choose?
Beauty, great beauty can bring many riches, if you are knowledgeable of its uses.
With you I would choose wisdom, as most people do not like you for your riches or beauty but your personality.
It would be useless if you don't have wisdom and have lots of money (richest) you might end up losing it all.

But anyways though a lot of people have wisdom in other countries it doesn't make them rich. in another hand, other countries you don't need to go to college just to get rich and famous or get a degree. In fact there are people who becomes rich without finishing high school.

What does finishing school have to do with wisdom? Wisdom comes from knowledge. Fill your my mind with knowledge so that you can be wise.

Beauty lies on the eyes of the beholder

I know I didn't exactly choose because I believe in balance
I would choose wisdom. Why? Because there is much beauty in wisdom. And with beauty and wisdom I am sure there are ways to acquire riches. But those things mean nothing without love, reason and someone to share all of it with. That may sound cheesy, or whatever, but it is the truth of the matter.
Nature is all these things....why choose only one?

Nature is beautiful, rich in abundance, and inherently wise.

    We are part of Nature.

If we look upon ourselves in a superficial way, we will be blind to the inherent wisdom that Nature has given us all, and the beauty and richness of spirit that lies within.
Wisdom. I have beauty and as I grow older I find it actually seems to have more disadvantages than advantages. With beauty comes vanity, jealousy, etc. Don't get me wrong I love being beautiful but there is so much more to life. With a great deal of wisdom you can do pretty much anything. Wisdom is always growing and that is a beautiful thing. Money tends to bring out the ugly sides in people so you can't go wrong with wisdom.

    Hope I helped :)
Riches....wisdom and beauty can't pay the rent.
    Wisdom.

Wisdom will get you the Riches.

Besides, Beauty is relative to the time and place.
Initually I was going to say wisdom, but then I thought, riches, because if I were rich I could afford to go to school and get a great education to become wise, and if I did not have beauty I could always spend my riches on becoming beautiful through surgery, personal trainers, fashion, makeup, etc... LOL. Gotta love the vain, yet rational thinking of the age we're in, eh?
true but wisdom can be gained over time and riches through wisdom!!

so what I'd do would be:

    ask for beauty

then gain wisdom through time and experience

and finally use that wisdom to gain riches

    =)

but if you'd ask which I preferred I'd have agreed wisdom.
I would definitely choose wisdom. Beauty would be nice, but it's not really that great. Also, as you said, it fades with time. Riches are even more fickle, and the old adage is true - money doesn't bring happiness. Wisdom, however, brings true happiness and fulfilment. It stays with you long after your beauty has gone and your last penny has been spent. People want to spend time with wise people, and I like to think that wisdom would allow me to help people and solve their problems.
innocence... i know it's not on the list.. but there's something pure about it. there is so much to learn and be done. beauty is for people who can';t get through things without their minds ( no offence ..) and riches are.; well a vicious greedy circle.. wisdom is tempting, but where is the eagerness to learn, the hunger for discovery and all. ok there..
    Wisdom !
    wisdom...

as you said, wisdom only grows with time..
Choosing wisdom is also choosing beauty and riches at the same time, and also being able to define what those words really mean. With wisdom, you get to really understand that riches is more than money and beauty is more than the faces we see. Wisdom is a personal thing. You are the only one who knows the power your mind has, and no one can tell you the level of wisdom you really own. Some say it comes along with age, but I just think you gain it with every experience you face, everyday of the week. Wisdom can never be taken away from you deep down. Wisdom is beautiful in itself.
    WISDOM

    no doubt about it

    Beauty is only skin deep.

Riches can't buy the most important things in life.

Wisdom, ah, wisdom. It can help you through life's trials, and help you to see your blessings.

    Have a great life.
i would say power but since thats not on the list, i'll settle for riches...
    WISDOM, *****!!!!
No such choice is possible because there would have to be a person who could grant it to you. Or a leprechaun.

I am trying out for Belle in Beauty and the Beast, what song should I sing?

I have a wide range, but I do better somewhat lower.I am trying out for Belle in Beauty and the Beast, what song should I sing?
HomeI am trying out for Belle in Beauty and the Beast, what song should I sing?
First off, you don't usually sing from the show unless specifically asked to do so. For Belle you need to shoew that you can hit her money note so choose something that goes up to that E if possible or close to it and show that you can belt it with ease.

    Try:

Part of Your World - Little Mermaid

Lord and Master - King and I

Green Finch and Linnet Bird - Sweeney Todd (but this song is difficult to sing and to play so an accompanist may have a hard time with it)

There are several songs that show her character, it's the vocal range you need to show that you can do. Honestly I think Part of Your World is the best choise. Same style in every way. It may be a half or whole note shy of Belle but it's close and maybe they'll have you sing scales to be sure you can sing the notes. Just make sure you choose the most difficult 16 bars or however many they give you (32, etc.)

    Good luck,

    Marianne
Yes, don't do anything from the show. For Belle, you need a sweet voice with a decent mix. Although you say you are more comfortable lower, Belle is a mezzo and you need at least to an F. She's not an alto, so don't pick anything too low.

I would stay away from Green Finch and Linnet Bird - it's more operatic and is geared toward a different voice type than Belle.

Look for a song sung by similiar character who is sweet, but also strong. An idealist.

    Some other song suggestions:

    Astonishing - Little Women

Somewhere That's Green - Little Shop of Horrors

Many a New Day - Oklahoma

Gimme gimme - Thoroughly Modern Millie

    Good luck!!
anything that show off your voice and any song you can shine on!

Why do people compare a woman's beauty based off of her race?

I always see people asking. ';Where do you find the most beautiful women?'; or ';In what places in the world are the most beautiful women from?'; I don't think there is a comparison when it comes to where beautiful people come from. Beautiful people are world wide and are not only in one place. I have seen beautiful women of all races and ages. So why do people think they are only in one place in the world? Why do people compare a woman's beauty based off of her race?
It all depends on what you consider beautiful.

    Michael posted:

“its more common to see the best women in eastern europe (russia, slovakia, czech republic, poland)”

I guess because he sees European (mainly Caucasian) women as being the most beautiful where is I’m the complete opposite.

I prefer my beautiful brown sisters with curves, which can be found all over the world even in Europe lol.

But I have heard Brazil is a must go for the eye candy. Why do people compare a woman's beauty based off of her race?
I think it's a subtle kind of prejudice... when people say things like, ';She's a beautiful x woman'; it's like they're implying that x people are not generally beautiful but once in a while one of their women are beautiful. But I don't know, maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

Oh, and I totally don't believe people who pretend that they don't have any preferences. Everyone is attracted to a look, at least a general look, maybe subconsciously even if they don't want to admit it to themselves. That's why they say things like ';Women/men are most beautiful in so and so and here and there'; It's just their preference and what they like.

I think sometimes, people become even more prejudiced while trying to be politically correct. It's okay for people to have preferences and to perhaps be a bit xenophobic... it's human. Beauty is discriminating anyway, not everyone is beautiful in the same way, and some people aren't physically beautiful at all. I don't think we have to pretend that everyone is the same and that everyone is attracted to the same thing and that the differences in people don't matter.
Some of that is lust. You lust for something different. If you live in one area, you may find other Races /cultures of another area more exciting and different than what you see on an everyday basis.

I have experienced this myself, i have black hair, blue eyed fair skin with freckles, and other men of different cultures find that attractive cause it is something they are not use to having around in their own countries or neighborhoods
People are shallow. And while I agree it's ridiculous to compare beauty based on race, they aren't necessarily talking about the color of the woman's skin when they ask. They could be curious as to which location has the highest concentration of attractive women, without any regards to race.
i've travelled the world and there are beautiful people everywhere but its more common to see the best women in eastern europe (russia, slovakia, czech republic, poland)

    different races have different looks

not only that but people in other places usually eat healthier than americans so it affects the look
Most women envy qualities that women from another race have. This is because they don't have that quality and they know that many men find it attractive. There is beauty in all races, but the deepest beauty one can achieve is being the best person that you can be.
Everyone from Brazil has an a** that you could bounce quarters off of. FACT.

If you thumbs-down this comment, it's because you're jealous that the same can't be said of your a**.

So seven of you have saddlebags, apparently, and five of you have a stunning back door and an ability to detect irony.
I agree - you can find attractive men/women in every part of the world. I agree with what another poster said about people lusting after someone who looks exotic or different, or at least they imagine to be exotic/different.
People are racists and sexists. Anyone of any race can be beautiful.
    because people are shallow.
we just said blacks are not attractive. they are too primitive looking

    Beauty!!!!?

My best friend has a mustache ( no offense) and she doesn't know whether she should pick it with tweezers, wax etc.....

What do u think she should do????

She wants advice, can u please help?Beauty!!!!?
I model and I see some girls do the stupidest things with unwanted hair. DO NOT WAX YOUR FACE!!! waxing is one of the worst things to do to your skin, it causes much abrasion and redness, and the hair grows back faster and thicker. The same goes for shaving. The best thing that gets hair out and gets it out good is threading. Its a very simple Indian custom in which they just thread usually the eyebrows off and as you see or if you've ever noticed Bollywood girls have the best brows in the world. Thread the hair on your upperlip and chin. Thread the hair on your upperlip and chin. Read this article for step-by-step instructions to threading. Threading will help you remove even the tiniest and finest of hair, whereas, if you wax, you will need to wait for hair to grow before you can wax it off again.

    The article is here http://www.indiaparenting.com/beauty/article.cgi?art_id=133%26amp;sec_id=8

    Hope I helpedBeauty!!!!?
the only thing that cause hair to grow more above your lip is when you shave and that's it. Tweezers don't, tweezers does a good job, it just hurt like hell!!!. I would prefer wax, but wax can hurt as well. Just make sure the person who does your friend wax job.... make sure she knows what she is doing. the reason for that is because... the longer the hair is the more it hurts when you wax.... it can cause red swollen areas...the key is to be careful....once you take care of it make sure you keep it down.... Good-Luck and take care
wax it, use hair removal cream, or bleach it. If she has sensitive skin, waxing is the best option. Otherwise I'd go with the cream. You can buy any of these products at a drug store, make sure to get the kind made for the face and not the body.

No matter what method she uses, she will have to repeat the process as it regrows.
wax...... but it hurts way worse then your eyebrows i do mine even though its blonde make up gets in it! do it a couple of days before you need it to look really good when all the hair is removed your make up will not stick to the bare skin and sometimes the wax will break you out!!
Wax it! Tweezers will work, but it will be a painful and long process.

Some people nair it, but you can burn your skin that way. Then you'll just have a red mustache.

    Good luck!
Waxing is good . Its Temporary .

Ur friend can also go for Permanent removal . Laser treatment . Nowdays its very easy .
Definately Wax or Tweeze. Waxing will be less painful and a lot quicker. If you shave it will grow back faster and thicker

    ...Beauty.....?

I am a Christian. Let's get that straight first. But I don't understand how God can say that I am beautiful, and I always feel so ugly. I have struggled with an eating disorder before and am still struggling with self image...but that aside, could God be lying when he calls me beautiful?...Beauty.....?
God doesn't care about outer beauty. He looks for inner beauty. People look at the outside as if that were some measure of what kind of person you are. There are beautiful people who are ugly inside. There are ugly people who are beautiful inside. You need to accept yourself the way you are. Look in the mirror and say, ';I like what I see';. It takes a lot to accept the way we look. But you will be happier when you do. Then you will understand why God thinks you're beautiful. Because you are....Beauty.....?
Everyone has the spark of divinity
Until you believe in yourself and realize who you are and what you are capable of, it will not matter what anyone else believes about you. God does love you. But if you don't love yourself you're not gonna realize that and feel it. Work on your relationship with yourself and I know all your other relationships will improve. If you ever need someone to talk to, let me know.
You've bought way too much into society's ideal of ';beauty.'; The old saying ';beauty is in the eye of the beholder'; is very true.
Just focus on being healthy, then your personality will come out more. Being strong spiritually will make you radiate a sort of inner beauty. Meditate/pray, do mind-body exercises, eat healthy, don't overindulge, and look for good inspiration everywhere, This will make you stronger spiritually, and feel better about yourself.
You may have body dis-morphia and see yourself differently to the way others see you. You are probably gorgeous but can't see it yourself...I don't believe in God so I won't comment there.

The best way to overcome this self-consciousness is to get involved in another interest, study read, do some courses, anything. Anyway I bet you are beautiful.

You could try EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), look it up on youtube there are lots of free demonstrations, it uses a tapping technique to overcome problems. While doing it you would say maybe...';Even though I think I'm really ugly, fat and unattractive I totally accept myself';...soon those feelings of unattractiveness will go.

Why do we forget to appreciate the beauty around us?

If we had to pay to see a sunset I bet many of us would be stashing our cash away. Why do we forget to appreciate the beauty around us?
Because we think that the beauty is other than what is present and there is something else, somewhere where more beautiful emerge which is a sheer myth/mirage!Why do we forget to appreciate the beauty around us?
    ';We forget to appreciate the beauty around us because we forget to appreciate and nurture the beauty that has so carefully been placed within us.';

If there is darkness within man it manifests itself on the periphery.

If there is light within man it manifests itself on the periphery.

    What does man harbor within?

That which is within man is that which is seen on the periphery.

    It's an inside job!
Beauty is an emotional phenomenon.A scene may be beautiful in your eyes but may have different effect on other. For the same person it may have different effect at different period of time.Like during death or deadly event the family involved will not praise the beauty of the nature.

When everything goes right then it is easy to appreciate the beauty around us.
Internal and external chaotic stimulus over power our senses so we cannot just stop and ';smell the roses';. It takes an act of the Divine within to wake our child. It is during these times of awareness we can appreciate the beauty in and around us.

This is why I am letting go of the old life and live in simplicity away from the external stimuli constantly being forced upon the Divine spirit.

    Peace.

    Amanda

because we have to go to work come back home to sleep and wake up to go to work.
because we spent too much time in front of our computers? and sit in artificial mind made worlds instead of just being and seeing.

  • Can you get a pedicure at a beauty school ?

For instance, the way you can get facials or your hair done, at a lower price because the students do the work? Is this something that happens at beauty schools? Can you get a pedicure at a beauty school ?
YES! Most every beauty school offers manicures and pedicures, that is part of the cosmetology licenses in most states, and I would recommend that you contact the one in the area and get a price typically they charge no more than 10-15 dollars for them, as well their sanitation is more advanced then most salons as they are learning to complete all steps of sanitation for the client right to the finishing polish!

    Hope this helped you,

    Good Luck

Can you get a pedicure at a beauty school ?
Yeah...You can get just about anything done at a Beauty School..it's like a salon, except their students who are watched over by a Licensed Cosmetologist instructor. Plus, You Learn how to do pedicures in School, not while out.
At most beauty schools-yes. The upside, they're cheaper. The downside, there's a higher chance they'll make a mistake because theyre still learning..=]
Yep, as long as the students are being taught manicures and pedicures you should be able to get one done at a beauty school.
Yes, you should be able to get a pedi.

This is called an Okurigake or rear leg trip technique.

Okurigake (rear leg trip) - After working his way behind the defender, the attacker will hook one of his legs around one of the defender鈥檚 legs. From this position, he will pull that hooked leg towards him, dropping his opponent forward and down. This technique can be done from either an inside or outside hooking position. Okurigake is one of the 12 techniques added in the 2001 winning technique list expansion.

Depending on if the colouring under your eyes is hereditery or not you could start using a under eye creame like dermalogica for under eye circles to try and lighten it up a bit, but if it is hereditery there isnt much you can do ufortunately. You could try to reduce puffiness with caffeniated tea bags steeped , squeezed and cooled and put under each eye for 10 minutes. For Curling prodcuts im not sure if you mean a tool or a agent to put in your hair.Beauty ????
For the bags under your eyes you can use a cream for it. It's called: Striadril Eye Cream For Orbital Area Application

You can buy it at Walgreens.

Why do you think the rep. will tell your current boss? It isn't his job to go around gossipping about his clients. Each of his clients is a private matter and should not be discussed with other clients, that is unprofessional, and possibly against company policy. Secondly, why do you think you would end up with the same rep. as your boss? there are multiple reps out there.

I don't think there is anywhere else the prices can be found. You can try looking on their website, but i don't believe they have the prices or catalogues listed.

Putting dark eyeshadow over your liner gives you a more natural flawless look

Will getting a tattoo on my wrist prevent me from getting a job in the beauty industry?

im currently in college and am studying beauty therapy, when i leave i want to work on cruise ships.ive been told in the past that visible tattoos in this industry can prevent you getting a job. i really want one on my wrist, but i would want the job more. is it true?

thanks xWill getting a tattoo on my wrist prevent me from getting a job in the beauty industry?
a few friends of mine are makeup artists and consultants at some pretty nice upscale places.. and most of them have small tattoos on their wrists and or arms. one of them has a huge rose one one and the date of her marriage on the other. it depends what company you work for. i have a heart on my wrist and it hasnt kept me from any jobs yet. im also trying to get into the beauty industry and i dont really see it being a problem. however if it ever does... have a great bracelet or watch that would work to cover it. i found a great leather cuff that would actually look great with business casual and i love it!

gives you a reason to buy more accessories for when you need to hide it hehe. Will getting a tattoo on my wrist prevent me from getting a job in the beauty industry?
I would think that it would definitely prevent you from getting a job on a cruise ship. They're pretty huge on appearances in that industry.

You could always get it somewhere you can easily cover it up, like in the middle of your back or on your upper thigh.
it varies job to job but i have one one my wrist and i usually just wear a thick bracelet or watch over it to cover when i am working so no one sees it. it all depends how bit it is and if you think you could find something to go ove rit. or if your wearing long sleeves you should be good
You should speak with the hiring managers for the places you want to work. I researched the likelihood of not getting hired or having clients not want to see me before I got visible tattoos.

It all really depends on the industry you're going into ;)
Just depends. I never have heard of the job you want. I was thinking you wanted to be a designer or something, which would allow you to have more freedom and do that as long as it is not a band or really big. Ask around to people who work in that job
you could keep it covered with bracelets, bangles, long sleeve shirts, and wristbands when you're not working or on an interview.

i recently got one on my left wrist and when i wanna hide it, i just wear long sleeve shirts.
I shouldnt think so, loads of people have tatoos these days from hairdressers to police officers. I work in stuffy accounts office and three of my collegues have a fair few tattoos between them.
Well i think that i small tattoo should not stop your job from proceeding if your into beauty tattoos are considered beauty so take the risk they are just stupid rumours
for the majority of custmer facing roles visible tattoos are a big nono

find out init, call up places your interested in working at and ask them.
