What is your thoughts on bangs on girls in beauty pageants?

My 2 kids were in a school pageant last saturday. i have noticed the judges dont pick girls with bangs. why is that? one of mine wore her bangs down and styled, the other had here bangs all in an updo. well tell me your thought on the best hair styles for 7 %26amp; 8 yr old girls in pageants. they looked beautiful but didn't win anything. what i dont understand is why the same girls win every year. I think it's the parents paying off the judges. also the daughter of the main pageant lady won queen, just tell me your ideas on school pageants. i dont pile on tons of make-up on my girls either like some had . i lightly had makeup on them. What is your thoughts on bangs on girls in beauty pageants?
No girls with bangs win. Miss Virginia in the Sunburst Pageant has bangs and its a glitz pageant. Your girls don't have to look beautiful to win. It's about how you present yourself. If you recorded it watch and see if their smile was to fake, if they were walking to fast or not fast enough, or whatever and compare your girls to the winner to see what was different/ same. What is your thoughts on bangs on girls in beauty pageants?
not the old school straight down in front bangs ....but the swoop bangs with an updo are very elegant
If you want your kids to win, give them bangs!
I think those pageants are very annoying. It's true that the same kids win all the time, and usually it is because their parents are rich or they spend all of their time preparing for pageants. You probably had beautiful daughters that deserved to win, but the judges were corrupt. Your daughters don't need ribbons and tiaras to feel good about themselves, and girls shouldn't be judged on beauty anyway. Oops, keep putting the girls in the pageants then if it helps the school and makes the girls happy. Just tell them it doesn't matter if they win or lose, as long as they have fun. Don't get too competitive about these things, though, or it can drive you batty.
Wow, where to start. First off, children with bangs look younger than others without. In pageants, an older, more mature and sophisticated look is what I've seen the judges go for.

As to you not winning, why are you blaming the judges and making excuses? No one's children are really better than anyone else's - but you asked someone to judge yours and this was the result for this particular pageant. Blaming others is a poor example to set for your children.
