3. go to famous barr, macys, jcpennys, ect. and try different body sprays and perfumes and buy the one you like best.
4. look in the mirror and decide what you want to change about yourself. you can go to kohls and give your self a makeup makeover. if you want a different hairstyle go to a salon and try their ideas. and ask them for recommended hair products. get your eyebrows waxed. and lastly, buy a whole new fall wardrobe.

Then at night was ur face again with SkinCeuaticals. Monday: Don't take a shower today, its better 4 ur hair, to be greasy, trust me. Wash ur face in the morn. Perfume with betsy Johnson. tuesday: same as sunday. Wednesday: repeat monday. thrusday: repeat sunday. Friday: repeat monday. Saturday: do either of the choices, perfer monday.

There are many beauty salons in Singapore. From the very high end to those home-based salons. It greatly depends on what your preference are and how much you are willing to pay. I've tried both ends of it. I found those home-based just as good. Prices are reasonable and they give good service.
At least those home-based are not pushy on products. They don't 'force' you into buying their products every time you finish a facial. It's so easy because we just go and get a facial done. No hassle.

I believe both are important. Obviously you shouldn't be obsessed with outer beauty, that would make life miserable. But you should be happy with your appearance. Generally men will not talk to an ugly woman long enough to find out if she has inner beauty. In other words the female must be attractive before the male will even test to see if she has inner beauty, so when meeting a stranger, for the first few moments at lease outer beauty is more important, then as time passes inner beauty may become the center of attention..

Which society? In many parts of Western society, yes - although obviously it's a trend and there are many individual differences (many people individually will prefer larger women. Society as a whole tends towards prefering thinner women). However, this isn't the same for all societies (especially not societies where food is scarcer, which are more likely to find heavier women attractive)
Well I think so. But studies show that throughout history small waist were one of the most complimented thing in romanic poetry more so even then breast. But scientist believe that its not actually the size but the waist to hip ratio. Studies show that women with smaller waist tend to be more fertile then throws who are more square shaped. So mens desire for women with hips and women's desire to have a smaller waist may just be primal instincts.

Well I think so. But studies show that throughout history small waist were one of the most complimented thing in romanic poetry more so even then breast. But scientist believe that its not actually the size but the waist to hip ratio. Studies show that women with smaller waist tend to be more fertile then throws who are more square shaped. So mens desire for women with hips and women's desire to have a smaller waist may just be primal instincts.

I definetly think so. I think it's awful that we live in a society where a size 10 is considered plus size. I think what matters is a person being happy with how they look and healthy. I agree with those saying that a service should be all about God.. the thing they are forgetting though, is that ';about God'; is WHY the services in the Main-Line Protestant (Lutheran, Methodist, Anglican/Episcopalian) and Catholic churches are so fancy and beautiful. It is HOW they are giving respect and reverence to God. it is HOW they are putting forth their BEST foot. HOW they are CELEBRATING God and ALL he has done for us.

Ibut used to attend Quaker meeting in Ann Arbor for many years, and the meeting house there is beautiful, but deliberately kept very plain.
Among Hixite Quakers or Friends, there is normally no music, no choir, no vestments, no paid minister, no stained glass, no regular prayers at all. The Quakers mostly meet in silence, although individuals can break the silence whenever they feel they have been inspired by the ';Inner light'; of the spirit to say something.
Some Quakers in my meeting really discouraged people from talking too much to break the silence, though. What some of us thought of as contributing messages gleaned from the inner light, these Quakers thought of as a ';popcorn meeting'; -- people just popping off about everything, in a disgracefully secular fashion.
I think there can be great beauty %26amp; power in the relative austerity of a silent Quaker meeting, and there are times when I thought the simple Meeting House was very beautiful, in its own fashion.

The cool thing about having different denominations is that different people like different styles of worship.
Our church used to be a warehouse and is in an industrial park. There are no windows in the sanctuary. They made it nice by painting the inside a dark brown. :-)
Lutheran churches are great and so I won't put them down at all. They do look nice and I have great friends that are Lutheran. When I visit Lutheran churches though, I tend to have a hard time staying awake. I like mixing it up a bit and having more modern music. See - different, but OK.

I like a church where people are excited to be a Christian. Don't get me wrong all the decorations are very beautiful. It just seems that the people seem to decorate a church more than the other things. for instance. I have seen where people are in a church with dirt floors, sitting on the floor, no ac, no heat and are just tickled as can be that they have a place of worship. In the US, if we don't have those luxuries then we get mad, complain, fall asleep in church, criticize the pastor or priest, say'; They just want our money';!
our church is an old store turned into a church we barely get by as it is small and most of us are out of work so donations excepted lol but i have to tell you when the spirit of the Lord takes over and runs the service there is nothing more beautiful any where i don't care how big the building is or how much it cost for when God is in it it is beautiful

I attended the Anglican Church as a young person and thought that was the best. However, when I got older I switched to a Christian Reformed Church, which is unlike any other Christian Reformed Church in our area. It is very upbeat, Word %26amp; Christ centred. That is really what matters to me seeing the name of Jesus lifted up.
I do not care what the building looks like,I want the Word of God preached, I want worship music ( with or without musicians) I want the Gospel told,I want to see an altar call : for salvation, for healing, for those in a back-slidden state to come back to Jesus, for people to become members.

Sometimes when a church invest so much money in the building they may can do more for the community.
Just think of all the food that those vestments, flowers, and stained glass windows could have bought to help the poor starving children. That's what Jesus would have done.

If you were talking hair, then I'd say no.... But there are a lot of asian products out there that are perfect for all skin types. Rice papers, for example, are for people with oily skin (regardless of melanin). If you have oily skin, using rice paper to blot up the excess oil is WAY better for your skin than, say, powdering your nose, lol! It will also reduce acne because when you powder your nose, you are adding more crap (and mixing the oil) to your skin, thus, you are further blocking your pores. With rice paper, you are just removing the oil, not the makeup, so you don't NEED to powder your nose.
All the black girls I know need deep moisturizers that are oil-free. They've all got really dry skin. So, all my girlfriends go for the moisture. Your best bet is trial and error, girl. If you have dry, yet oily (I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but it happens, lol) then you need to focus on moisturizing without adding more of the type of moisture your body already creates...
It really all depends on the kind of makeup. I mean sometimes it could workout for your skin but sometimes it was meant for Asian people. Maybe your right about the melanin on the skin but you might as welll give it a try. =]

For me, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if I really like somebody, I suddenly find them beautiful, no matter what I thought when I first met them. I think guys can be manipulated by beauty more than women.

The only reason I say appearance, is because this is what everyone goes by. It's their first impression of you. Guys approach you because of your appearance, jobs hire you because of your appearance (along with your skills and qualifications), the way you look should determine what kind of person you are although it always doesn't. That is why my appearance is so important, plus you never know who you are going to meet, who ultimately is going to get their first impression of you thru your appearance.
I agree with bug927, I'm very good looking and guys only what me for my beauty/good looks, which sucks cas they only want a pretty face for a second then get disinterested in me and move on to the girl with a better personality. That it makes me wanna cry, i mean i can't excatly change that, its just me, Who i am.
I'd say personality will get you where you want to be.
my life and health is more important than anything else appereance is next , how I represent myself, beauty is only skin deep, my husband thought I looked good to marry me, and everybody has a different personality. everybody has their own way of thinking.=)

Israel produces some internationally marketed cosmetics based on minerals from the Dead Sea. Jordan is the only other country in the world with access to these unique, naturally occuring mineral deposits. There is nothing similar on Earth.What goes in all those beauty creams for wrinkles? i'm not sure.the best advice i can give is to google search the brand of cream you use and the ingredients.

If you have the mineral creams from Israel - made from the Dead Sea itself (or ';Salt Sea'; as it is also called, just South-East of Jerusalem, and joined to the Sea of Galilee by the Jordan river), - you have the healthiest and most remarkably wonderful products in the world.
Technically speaking, you *could* buy American-made products. But with the business-driven mentality of the West, and their reliance upon chemically-produced compounds, you're not getting the healthiest benefits provided you - by natural products. No matter what their advertisements say!
It is for this kind of reasoning, that the French slapped an 'all-market' ban on American-made cosmetics after it was believed that certain types of cancer were caused by compounds in US-made lip-sticks, and similar products.
Rather than complain that you have Israeli products - Praise G-D for them - as you have a natural and healthful blessing that is hard to get in other places, and is found absolutely nowhere else in the world! - and people will be charged through the nose for them - by the many unscrupulous and dishonest dealers out there!

What Modern tales of beauty and the beast are there?
I am looking for a more present day retelling of Beauty and the Beast, such as the book Beastly as apposed to Robin McKinley's Beauty or Rose Daughter, though those books are my favorite versions of the story. I would prefer stories that take place anytime between the 1920's to the present day or beyond (a futuristic retelling).What Modern tales of beauty and the beast are there?
