i am currently planning to make a study on the processes and procedures that stage mothers and daughters undergo in child beauty pageants. Would you recommend possible related literature i can use? I want to know if it is a viable study

They can probably show you the online databases and journal indices for materials in sociology, psychology, and cross-disciplinary fields like cultural studies and feminist studies.





The other thing I can suggest is joining the discussion list for the Popular Culture Association and American Culture Association, and posting your question there. If there are scholars who have done work already in this area, somebody there is bound to know about it.
