All art consists of two things Elements and principles.





Elements


color, value, line, shape, form, texture and space





Principles


balance, contrast, proportion, pattern, rhythm, unity, and variety.





Beauty is the combination of the these that one finds pleasing to the senses.





balance- equal weight and space - top to bottom and side to side.
beauty is only skin deep.


You can be a gorgeous babe on the outside, but on the inside you might not be so beautiful (mentally).





Beauty comes from within, your self confidence and overall demeanor help shape how you appear to the rest of the world.


For instance, the way someone dresses. If someone has a low self-esteem, they might wear baggy clothes, to hide their true appearance.





It really doesn't matter what size or shape or skin colour you are, you just need to be comfortable in your own skin.
The aside from the above would be that the standards of beauty change. For instance, plump was in during the Renaissance; look at Botticelli's Venus. Now, slender is ideal.
