What does beauty mean to you? What beauty is more important? Inner or Outer?

I believe both are important. Obviously you shouldn't be obsessed with outer beauty, that would make life miserable. But you should be happy with your appearance. Take your time getting ready in the morning, every girl wants to look good, but once you leave your house just remember to be happy with who you are. If you think about a person who is truly beautiful, they're kind and happy every day. They are happy with who they are no matter what others think. That's what beauty means to me. And both are important, but inner definitely rules.What does beauty mean to you? What beauty is more important? Inner or Outer?
to be beautiful means to have a nice personality, and to care about others and not just yourself. beauty is in the eye of the beholder (quote) because you might not think someone is beautiful, but a completely different person might. inner beauty is what really counts cause you can't go through life on looks only. i think that everyone is beautiful in a different way inner and outer.
outer beauty is seen first, but inner beauty is more important :)

a lot of people will inner but i think that there should be a balance ...u should make yourself look good, but something that you believes looks good for you not someone else's opinion and inner beauty is something that u also need to work on because it it what u will have left when age takes the outer ...I don't think one is more important but that they compliment each other.

i would go with inner though, since we are closer to finding ways to improve our outer beauty. (ie: plastic surgery, teeth whitening etc etc)

Although sometimes i become very shallow and judge only by looks.





Looks count, but so does their personality.
Inner, because that's how you make friends. But outer is also like the icing on the cake (: but inner beauty is what will get you through life. Looks can only get you so far!
Inner beauty because outer beauty can only last for so long I mean for instance if someone is absoultely gorgeous but you can't even carry on a conversation with them because their stupid as hell than a lot of times its a turn off
Definitely inner. You can fix outer beauty with a number of things, but you can't fix stupidity.

Inner. I like funny, intelligent, kind people whether or not they are attractive. And meanhearted stupid or dull people do not interest me, regardless of how amazing they might look

well all the boys think the most important beauty is the out side but some of them or even us think is just the personality you have!!

You won't always be beautiful on the outside. Really. Have you ever seen a ';hot'; 90-year old woman? Of course not! Beauty on the inside is lasting.
when a person is supermodel beautiful on the outside, but has a crappy inner personality, they turn out to be un-beautiful. so...inner.

The problem isn't so much what kind of beauty is more important. The answer to that is apparent. The problem is that men, for the most part are shallow to the point, that first impressions must be favorable.


Generally men will not talk to an ugly woman long enough to find out if she has inner beauty. In other words the female must be attractive before the male will even test to see if she has inner beauty, so when meeting a stranger, for the first few moments at lease outer beauty is more important, then as time passes inner beauty may become the center of attention..
