I've been wanting to try some new hair products and some new make-up. I need a good kind of mascara and bronzer. For my hair, I just want something to make your hair healthy and give it some shine. for hair, you should try Organix products. i use pomegranate green tea Organix shampoo and conditioner and it makes my hair so soft and silky, and it smells SO good too! there are lots of different products by them, so you should check out their site to read about them (www.organix.com) Organix is also really healthy for your hair because it doesnt use a lot of bad chemicals like other shampoos and conditioners. it uses mostly natural ingredients. :)What are some good beauty products?
my friend uses a mascara that makes tubes on the ends of your lashes, it looks as good as false lashes which she vows to never buy again after buying this stuff. i dont know what its called but you first apply the white stuff then let it dry then apply the black stuff. also lo'real has a good bronzer. i hate make up but have uneven skin,so i use it when i take pictures. after apply foundation which i hate because it makes me look too flat and matte i use the bronzer on the places where the sun would hit my face and it makes me look so much more natural and dewey pure coconut oil is great for hair, if its to heavy for you just put it in your hair overnight and let it soak it then wash it out the next morning with some very gentle shampoo. maybe even diluted

1. summer is time to experiment with different skin products. try different ones (buy the smallest bottle) and see which one works best for you. and by the time school starts you should have flawless skin.

2.tan. obviously.

3. go to famous barr, macys, jcpennys, ect. and try different body sprays and perfumes and buy the one you like best.

4. look in the mirror and decide what you want to change about yourself. you can go to kohls and give your self a makeup makeover. if you want a different hairstyle go to a salon and try their ideas. and ask them for recommended hair products. get your eyebrows waxed. and lastly, buy a whole new fall wardrobe.

On Sunday first thing in the morn take a shower, using pantene shampoo and conditioner(i recommend shine pantene). then after blow dry ur hair to make it volumeized. then wash ur face in the morning with SkinCeuaticals(spelling not sure of?), foam cleanser or the pimple 1. then for perfume use betsy johnson, its really beutiful fragrance. Then at night was ur face again with SkinCeuaticals. Monday: Don't take a shower today, its better 4 ur hair, to be greasy, trust me. Wash ur face in the morn. Perfume with betsy Johnson. tuesday: same as sunday. Wednesday: repeat monday. thrusday: repeat sunday. Friday: repeat monday. Saturday: do either of the choices, perfer monday.

There are many beauty salons in Singapore. From the very high end to those home-based salons. It greatly depends on what your preference are and how much you are willing to pay. I've tried both ends of it. I found those home-based just as good. Prices are reasonable and they give good service.

At least those home-based are not pushy on products. They don't 'force' you into buying their products every time you finish a facial. It's so easy because we just go and get a facial done. No hassle.

I like 2 small salons in the Orchard Road area--they use excellent product lines and I've enjoyed personal service each time I go.

I believe both are important. Obviously you shouldn't be obsessed with outer beauty, that would make life miserable. But you should be happy with your appearance. Take your time getting ready in the morning, every girl wants to look good, but once you leave your house just remember to be happy with who you are. If you think about a person who is truly beautiful, they're kind and happy every day. They are happy with who they are no matter what others think. That's what beauty means to me. to be beautiful means to have a nice personality, and to care about others and not just yourself. beauty is in the eye of the beholder (quote) because you might not think someone is beautiful, but a completely different person might. inner beauty is what really counts cause you can't go through life on looks only. i think that everyone is beautiful in a different way inner and outer.
outer beauty is seen first, but inner beauty is more important :)

Which society? In many parts of Western society, yes - although obviously it's a trend and there are many individual differences (many people individually will prefer larger women. Society as a whole tends towards prefering thinner women). However, this isn't the same for all societies (especially not societies where food is scarcer, which are more likely to find heavier women attractive)

But scientist believe that its not actually the size but the waist to hip ratio. Studies show that women with smaller waist tend to be more fertile then throws who are more square shaped. I don't go to church much these days.

Ibut used to attend Quaker meeting in Ann Arbor for many years, and the meeting house there is beautiful, but deliberately kept very plain.

Among Hixite Quakers or Friends, there is normally no music, no choir, no vestments, no paid minister, no stained glass, no regular prayers at all. The Quakers mostly meet in silence, although individuals can break the silence whenever they feel they have been inspired by the ';Inner light'; of the spirit to say something.

Some Quakers in my meeting really discouraged people from talking too much to break the silence, though. What some of us thought of as contributing messages gleaned from the inner light, these Quakers thought of as a ';popcorn meeting'; -- people just popping off about everything, in a disgracefully secular fashion.

I think there can be great beauty %26amp; power in the relative austerity of a silent Quaker meeting, and there are times when I thought the simple Meeting House was very beautiful, in its own fashion.

OTOH, I've visited a few Catholic cathedrals in Europe that were just about the opposite: acres of stained glass, elaborate statuary, lots of candles burning, lots of insense, lots of music. And I think that can be very beautiful, too.

The cool thing about having different denominations is that different people like different styles of worship.

Our church used to be a warehouse and is in an industrial park. There are no windows in the sanctuary. They made it nice by painting the inside a dark brown. :-)

Lutheran churches are great and so I won't put them down at all. They do look nice and I have great friends that are Lutheran. When I visit Lutheran churches though, I tend to have a hard time staying awake. I like mixing it up a bit and having more modern music. See - different, but OK.

I like a church where people are excited to be a Christian. Don't get me wrong all the decorations are very beautiful. It just seems that the people seem to decorate a church more than the other things. for instance. I have seen where people are in a church with dirt floors, sitting on the floor, no ac, no heat and are just tickled as can be that they have a place of worship. I attended the Anglican Church as a young person and thought that was the best. However, when I got older I switched to a Christian Reformed Church, which is unlike any other Christian Reformed Church in our area. It is very upbeat, Word %26amp; Christ centred. That is really what matters to me seeing the name of Jesus lifted up.
I do not care what the building looks like,I want the Word of God preached, I want worship music ( with or without musicians) I want the Gospel told,I want to see an altar call : for salvation, for healing, for those in a back-slidden state to come back to Jesus, for people to become members.

asians are very pale (east) but they create products for all different skin colors depending on the line
If you were talking hair, then I'd say no.... But there are a lot of asian products out there that are perfect for all skin types. Rice papers, for example, are for people with oily skin (regardless of melanin). If you have oily skin, using rice paper to blot up the excess oil is WAY better for your skin than, say, powdering your nose, lol! It will also reduce acne because when you powder your nose, you are adding more crap (and mixing the oil) to your skin, thus, you are further blocking your pores. With rice paper, you are just removing the oil, not the makeup, so you don't NEED to powder your nose.

All the black girls I know need deep moisturizers that are oil-free. They've all got really dry skin. So, all my girlfriends go for the moisture. Your best bet is trial and error, girl. If you have dry, yet oily (I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but it happens, lol) then you need to focus on moisturizing without adding more of the type of moisture your body already creates...
It really all depends on the kind of makeup. I mean sometimes it could workout for your skin but sometimes it was meant for Asian people. Maybe your right about the melanin on the skin but you might as welll give it a try. =]

To answer your followup question I personally think she only thought about killing him (Never any planned out intent) and only bought the gun to further satisfy these fantasies perhaps climaxing with her drawing the gun on him without ever intending to fire. Since you mentioned pinay beauty, I prefer the typical pinay beauty - kayumanggi, dark hair, charming, somewhat shy.To those who wants combinations, read the question again.
I find when pinay's have 1 %26amp; 3 looks, they can be so so so so beautiful... it's the exotic look of being a mixed of cultures that's so attractive.

well i learned that when you put on eyeliner, you shuld start at the outer end of your eye and draw little dashes as close as you can to your eyelid across. then connect them. it makes a straight line...

and when you curl your eyelashes, pump at the base adn then 'walk' it out. it really curls them, esepcially if you curl after you put on mascara (i know thats bad, but i do it anyway haha)

They started out purple as they should and then kept getting greener and greener. They were not soft nor hard. Except for the color they were about perfect size and firmness. Well my favorites are:

Bath and Body Works Antibacterial Hand Lotion---makes my hands soft and kills germs at the same time! My favorite scent is sea island cotton!

Garnier Shine Spray Thingy--I forget exactly what it's called, but it makes my hair super shiny and sleek.

Loreal HIP cream eyeliner--I have it in the purple color and it's great!

Queene Helene Mint Julep Masque--Makes my pores small and face smooth. Love it BUT it's extremely minty and sometimes over-tingly, I don't recommend for dry or tight skin.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse--I use it as concealer on blemishes and under eyes only because it has thick coverage. I don't recommend it for dry skin because it makes the dry spots on my face in the winter look flaky and chalky.

What I don't like:

Maybelline Great Lash mascara. It's so overhyped. It smudges everywhere and its weird wet consistency made my lashes feel really heavy.What is your favorite beauty product you've ever used, and why?

I cannot live without TWEEZERS !!! Tweezers are a remarkable instrument as long as they are paired with a magnifying mirror. I use them both everyday, i can't live without the tweezers though, they get to all the important places.
Well I used Bio-Oil to minimize the appearance of acne scars and it really works. I like the way it makes my skin soft too.

I have never used Juice Beauty, but I am a big fan of Eminence Organics.

I have used Eminence products for almost 2 years now and I just feel good about using the products. I have noticed a difference in my skin texture and tone, but then I wasn't moisturizing regularly before using Eminence because I didn't like the way that the products felt on my skin or the ingredients in them.

IMO...beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and several advertising agencies. Everyone is beautiful in their own right. I think one of the issues is that those who do not fit the preconcieved notion of what beauty is advertised to be get intimidated

We are also a shallow society, and that needs to change. IMO..our shallowness is one of the reasons why we are in the condition we are in.

Questions like this one will lead our society to change, we desperately need to.

I think they are awful. Those pageants do not judge the beauty of that child....they judge the beauty of the dress that child is wearing, and the beauty of some makeup artists work because those little girls are wearing layers and layers of heavy stage makeup. Some of them even have fake dental work to put it, to cover it up when they have lost their baby teeth. How ridiculous! Losing baby teeth is a part of growing up, and a part of that child's history, so therefore THAT is what is beautiful. Those kids are learning early that beauty is what's important. Well, I sure hope that someone is also teaching them that an education is important. Beauty doesn't last forever, but an education damn sure does.
I wouldn't personally do the beauty pageant thing with my daughter. Even when she wanted to, I just felt that it gives her the wrong ideas about what is important. I had a friend whos daughter wanted to just do it for fun, but it gets really competitive sometimes and it really didn't do her a lot of good. Now she worries more about what she looks like than school and other things. But that's just my thought on it.
i think that parents need to instill in their children that there's so much more than just what's on the outside. Also i hate to see young girls (4,5,6 and so on) being told by their mommies to do these pageants and putting on pounds of makeup, fake eyelashes, 2 piece bathing suits and parading them around and having them shake their butts. it's horrible. Teaching your children to be self confident is one thing (that's very important) but it's also scary with so many child preditors and such. i wouldn't put my child in pageants. but that's just me.

I really have mixed feelings about it. The really little girls wearing globs of makeup and getting tans and so on is a little crazy. I like the natural ones for really little girls and when the girls are old enough to decide if they like it or not probably around age 4 and then IF they want to do the more glam ones with makeup and so on I think its fine as long as they parents do not push it. Something about babies and toddlers wearing makeup though makes me think its not right.
Personally, I think its like anything else, whether it be sports, dancing, singing, playing an instrument, etc. as long as the child enjoys doing it and is having fun, then its okay. Once it becomes a chore and the fun goes away, its time to find something else.

My sister was a pageant child. Not pushed into them but truly enjoyed them. It depends on what pageants a child is entering and what the focus of the child and parents are. There are many small pageants that do NOT objectize small children. We simply see far too many that do.
I think if the child is old enough to ask and truly wants to do them, it's one thing. If they are a baby or the parents are pushing them and the child doesn't want to, it's all for the parents.

If she's insecure about it as a beauty mark, she's sure to be at least doubly so with it as a scar. She should really leave it be, and try to think of it in a different light. It's unique, and it simply gives her body character - that's what beauty marks are for, after all.

Never ever ever, no matter how tired you are, go to bed without washing your face. Don't smoke.....anything. Keep your hands off of your face, period. No matter how tan you may want your body to be, and you are young and will do that no matter what we say, at least buy a big brimmed hat and a pair of Dior sunglasses and one of those cute little wrap around sarong things to wear at the beach. Hey, the mystery girls are always the sexiest. Whatever you do....don't tan your face. Wear a bronzer instead. Exercising and eating healthy won't protect you from the sun, and it is your very worst enemy. Take it from this 63 year old lady who spent her life in it and is paying the price.
In addition to what you have said, don't smoke because it ages your skin, especially around the mouth. Drink a lot of water to keep your skin hydrated and if possible, don't get too much sun. Sun not only makes your skin look leathery in your old age, but you may get skin cancer like a friend of mine did. She was absolutely gorgeous as a young person, but got skin cancer and it has come back several times. She goes to schools now and talks to teens about the dangers of too much sun. Wen you do go out, put on a good sun screen. I know this is hard for a young person to understand, but it is part of what you need to hear if you want to keep your skin pretty.
I've been told that despite my age I have great skin. I was a real redhead at one time (before going gray). I have that very milky white skin that is very sensitive and burns easily. I recommend to everyone regardless of their skin type, that when they are young to stay out of the sun. Getting a golden tan now will result in premature aging of the skin and that means wrinkles! Also, drink lots of water and get 8 hours of sleep. Water and sleep do wonders for the skin. Also, stay away from cigarettes and alcohol...both are bad for the skin. Always were sunscreen. I go for the big stuff...SPF 70. I like Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock. It's non-grease, light weight and waterproof.
Moisturize and be sure to use natural looking color and tones when choosing lipstick or makeup. I think to use the same red rouge from yester year only adds to age.

The trick is to capitalize on your features rather than emhasize age.

wash my face and take a shower. I try to stay natural with makeup. If I'm in the mood, I might accent my eyes with a light brush-over of eyeliner. But natural beauty is the most beautiful. It took me a while to figure that out, and sometimes I struggle with that still. But true beauty comes from within and if you are beautiful inside, then that will radiate out.

Take care of your hair.

Get it trimmed regularly (search on-line for colours and styles that best fit your face shape and hair type).

Always brush it, but not too much..100 strokes every night is a myth that will only break your hair.

Try straightening it to the side, or curling it wavy.

If you wish to dye your hair, make sure it's one that suits your skin tone--2 shades darker or lighter than the natural color of your hair.

See to your skin.

Use moisturizer suited to your skin type every day.

Use a facial scrub at least once a week.

you have pimples or other face irritation, use an acne formula that won't dry out your skin. Nobody likes scale-like skin!

If you have pimples, do not pick them, it may lead to scarring. If you already have, gently exfoliate regularly to smoothen the scars out a bit.

Keep up to date with fashion magazines--but mix whats new with what you've got,add some of your own style to whats hip and hot,after all we don't want to be clones.

I don't know about illustrating much. They're a strange but durable tradition with their own subculture. It's a beauty parade; people have always admired and been fascinated by beauty. But it's also a fascinating window into the venality and exploitation that surround any attempt to market the appearance of others or to sell one's own appearance. The fascination it exerts is somewhere between a fashion parade and a peep show.

Although the best-known ones are Miss Universe etc. and the competitors are young women, there are many others out there. Mr Universe, Mrs Universe, Mr and Mrs Universe (a doubles event), most countries' individual pageants, probably Mr Transexual Universe, all the way down to the Miss Insert Name of Local Brewery at the state fair.

There isn't any importance as far as I know. Except maybe for the advertisers and sponsors as a money-making opportunity, and for the contestants who try to win scholarships and contracts to ';represent'; various products as well as cash prizes.

The swimsuit competition is the most ';meat-market'; and sleazy part of the show. Again, ';importance'; is probably too serious a word for this.

Why is it important to know about the effects? I have no idea. Maybe to make your teacher happy? Or to address questions of self-worth being connected to others' judgment of one's appearance?

If I were doing an investigative story on pageants I would probably take a look at the judges. Where do they get them? Who says ';I want to grow up to be a beauty pageant judge'; and wouldn't that seem a bit creepy?

The place where the boundary between perving and wholesome admiration gets blurred is probably the most interesting part of the whole thing.

This is such a great interesting question. We don't really have beauty competitions like this in England.

I think as long as people take them with a pinch of salt they are OK. I know quite a few of the feminists that won't agree with them but I think it's a nice competition and gives girls the chance to show off their beauty. I suppose the swimsuit competition is to show off who has the best body which is probably not so good (as their is the whole role model for young girls and size 0 nightmare - which is wrong).

Any girl should be allowed to enter one of these competitions be her short, thin or fat. Society deem that thin girls are more attractive but this is rubbish. There are beautiful women of ALL shapes and sizes.

I totally for it but I wouldn't ever take it seriously.

As someone already mentioned, we don't really have beauty pageants in England, to my knowledge...*waits for a burn about English looks* So anyway, I'm not really aware of what said pageants illustrate (I would've supposed beauty from the name). My only knowledge on this subject could be derived from the film ';Miss Congeniality'; and the documentary ';Tears, Tiaras and Transexuals';; I do not believe these sources will provide me with a very realistic view of most of these pageants :P

Wisdom is always growing and that is a beautiful thing. Money tends to bring out the ugly sides in people so you can't go wrong with wisdom.

I would definitely choose wisdom. Beauty would be nice, but it's not really that great. Also, as you said, it fades with time. Riches are even more fickle, and the old adage is true - money doesn't bring happiness. Wisdom, however, brings true happiness and fulfilment. It stays with you long after your beauty has gone and your last penny has been spent. People want to spend time with wise people, and I like to think that wisdom would allow me to help people and solve their problems.

First off, you don't usually sing from the show unless specifically asked to do so. For Belle you need to shoew that you can hit her money note so choose something that goes up to that E if possible or close to it and show that you can belt it with ease.

Part of Your World - Little Mermaid

Lord and Master - King and I

Green Finch and Linnet Bird - Sweeney Todd (but this song is difficult to sing and to play so an accompanist may have a hard time with it)

There are several songs that show her character, it's the vocal range you need to show that you can do. Honestly I think Part of Your World is the best choise. Same style in every way. It may be a half or whole note shy of Belle but it's close and maybe they'll have you sing scales to be sure you can sing the notes. Just make sure you choose the most difficult 16 bars or however many they give you (32, etc.)

Yes, don't do anything from the show. For Belle, you need a sweet voice with a decent mix. Although you say you are more comfortable lower, Belle is a mezzo and you need at least to an F. She's not an alto, so don't pick anything too low.

I would stay away from Green Finch and Linnet Bird - it's more operatic and is geared toward a different voice type than Belle.

Look for a song sung by similiar character who is sweet, but also strong. An idealist.

Beautiful people are world wide and are not only in one place. I have seen beautiful women of all races and ages. I think it's a subtle kind of prejudice... when people say things like, ';She's a beautiful x woman'; it's like they're implying that x people are not generally beautiful but once in a while one of their women are beautiful. But I don't know, maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

Oh, and I totally don't believe people who pretend that they don't have any preferences. Everyone is attracted to a look, at least a general look, maybe subconsciously even if they don't want to admit it to themselves. I think sometimes, people become even more prejudiced while trying to be politically correct. It's okay for people to have preferences and to perhaps be a bit xenophobic... it's human. Beauty is discriminating anyway, not everyone is beautiful in the same way, and some people aren't physically beautiful at all. I don't think we have to pretend that everyone is the same and that everyone is attracted to the same thing and that the differences in people don't matter.
Some of that is lust. You lust for something different. If you live in one area, you may find other Races /cultures of another area more exciting and different than what you see on an everyday basis.

I have experienced this myself, i have black hair, blue eyed fair skin with freckles, and other men of different cultures find that attractive cause it is something they are not use to having around in their own countries or neighborhoods
People are shallow. And while I agree it's ridiculous to compare beauty based on race, they aren't necessarily talking about the color of the woman's skin when they ask. They could be curious as to which location has the highest concentration of attractive women, without any regards to race.

the only thing that cause hair to grow more above your lip is when you shave and that's it. Tweezers don't, tweezers does a good job, it just hurt like hell!!!. I would prefer wax, but wax can hurt as well. Just make sure the person who does your friend wax job.... make sure she knows what she is doing. the reason for that is because... the longer the hair is the more it hurts when you wax.... it can cause red swollen areas...the key is to be careful....once you take care of it make sure you keep it down.... Good-Luck and take care

I am a Christian. Let's get that straight first. But I don't understand how God can say that I am beautiful, and I always feel so ugly. I have struggled with an eating disorder before and am still struggling with self image...but that aside, could God be lying when he calls me beautiful?...Beauty.....?
God doesn't care about outer beauty. He looks for inner beauty. People look at the outside as if that were some measure of what kind of person you are. There are beautiful people who are ugly inside. There are ugly people who are beautiful inside. You need to accept yourself the way you are. Look in the mirror and say, ';I like what I see';. It takes a lot to accept the way we look. But you will be happier when you do. Then you will understand why God thinks you're beautiful. Because you are....Beauty.....?

You could try EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), look it up on youtube there are lots of free demonstrations, it uses a tapping technique to overcome problems. Most every beauty school offers manicures and pedicures, that is part of the cosmetology licenses in most states, and I would recommend that you contact the one in the area and get a price typically they charge no more than 10-15 dollars for them, as well their sanitation is more advanced then most salons as they are learning to complete all steps of sanitation for the client right to the finishing polish!

Depending on if the colouring under your eyes is hereditery or not you could start using a under eye creame like dermalogica for under eye circles to try and lighten it up a bit, but if it is hereditery there isnt much you can do ufortunately. You could try to reduce puffiness with caffeniated tea bags steeped , squeezed and cooled and put under each eye for 10 minutes. For Curling prodcuts im not sure if you mean a tool or a agent to put in your hair.Beauty ????

Why do you think the rep. will tell your current boss? It isn't his job to go around gossipping about his clients. Each of his clients is a private matter and should not be discussed with other clients, that is unprofessional, and possibly against company policy. Secondly, why do you think you would end up with the same rep. as your boss? there are multiple reps out there.

-to make your eyes pop i get a lip stick looking concealer and put it on as eye Shadow makes my eyes look like big puppy eyes!

-I always go for the air whipped mascara it gives me both volume and length!

-get a lip liner the sam color as your lips put it on and it makes your lips look more fuller!

- never brush your foundation up, because it goes against the hairline of your face, making it ugly. =]

*I pat foundation on my lower eyes above my cheek when i use dark or shimmery eye shadows for it won't look all wierd and smudge.

When using mascara concentrate on the bottom of the top lashes first and coat it a few times then sweep upward.

For a more airbrushed look put your blush on under your powder and set with a face mist.

a few friends of mine are makeup artists and consultants at some pretty nice upscale places.. and most of them have small tattoos on their wrists and or arms. one of them has a huge rose one one and the date of her marriage on the other. it depends what company you work for. i have a heart on my wrist and it hasnt kept me from any jobs yet. im also trying to get into the beauty industry and i dont really see it being a problem. however if it ever does... have a great bracelet or watch that would work to cover it. i found a great leather cuff that would actually look great with business casual and i love it!

I would think that it would definitely prevent you from getting a job on a cruise ship. They're pretty huge on appearances in that industry.

You could always get it somewhere you can easily cover it up, like in the middle of your back or on your upper thigh.
it varies job to job but i have one one my wrist and i usually just wear a thick bracelet or watch over it to cover when i am working so no one sees it. it all depends how bit it is and if you think you could find something to go ove rit. or if your wearing long sleeves you should be good
You should speak with the hiring managers for the places you want to work. I researched the likelihood of not getting hired or having clients not want to see me before I got visible tattoos.

Just depends. I never have heard of the job you want. I was thinking you wanted to be a designer or something, which would allow you to have more freedom and do that as long as it is not a band or really big. Ask around to people who work in that job

Aloe Vera! Yep, just plain aloe vera. It makes an awesome hair conditioner - it leaves my hair so shiny and soft! It is especially nice if I mix it with lemon juice (the cheap bottled stuff from the grocery store is fine). Lemon juice removes residues that can make hair dull and lifeless - and it leaves your hair smelling great! Aloe Vera also makes a great as a shaving cream or skin moisturizer, and will help heal just about any skin problem.

You can buy aloe vera juice or gel at any health food store fairly cheap. You can also buy some sort of aloe vera just about anywhere but it might have a lot of crap added to it and the pure stuff is best.

Well it depends, your aunt may have a good job that brings in good income. Or she may have a budget on othet things just so that she can buy hair and make-up products.

I don't recommend buying make-up off other sites as they're cheaper, because most of them are fake. Just limit yourself to what else you can buy, don't go out for dinner as often, or save some money on fuel for your car by walking or public transport for a week.

These are just simple ideas.

You can set up a monthly budget for yourself and buy within the budget. The most important thing is to buy quality not quantity. You don't want lots of fake and cheap makeups.

Makeups will last a long time so when you buy a few nice items each month and after a few months, you will accumulate lots nice products.

My beautiful mother has been a housewife for more than 25 years now, she's 46 but looks like she's in her early 30s, honestly!!! The problem she has is that when ever shes goes out her make-up doesn't stay on for more than 30 minutes. On behalf of my mother, could you please help! Without knowing her skin type, it's hard to say whether this issue is due to oiliness of the skin, or whether she is simply using products that lack pigmentation. A high talc content in eyeshadows, for example, means they will disappear quite quickly.

I highly recommend that she try some products that have been specifically designed for length of wear. Some good ones to try, and which would possibly appeal to someone her age, would be:

- Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation (liquid), Chanel Mat Lumiere foundation (2-way powder), or Revlon ColourStay foundation (liquid).

- Bobbi Brown Longwear Cream Eyeshadows. These are absolutely budgeproof, and come in a wide range of neutral and non-shimmery shades.

- Waterproof mascara. I love Chanel Inimitable Waterproof, but there are plenty of other great low-end waterproof mascaras out there.

- Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner. Again, these absolutely do not budge, and the quality of pigmentation is first class.

- Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick - another long-last product, doesn't move once dry.

- For lips, she could try a longwearing lip colour (e.g. Revlon Colourstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick), or if she finds these too drying, use a lip pencil before applying lipstick.

She should also invest in an oil-based makeup remover, to help her remove product at the end of the day.

Make sure she cleanses, tones and moisturises. Let the moisturiser sink in for 30 minutes and then use a primer. Then use foundation

you can also buy eye primers [for eyeshadow to last longer] - MAC do a great eye primer

and also a lip primers and 'lip sealants'

My best advice would be to cleanse tone and moisturise then use a primer for her face and on her eyelid (she can use concealer and loose powder for this) to keep the make up in place then after she has finished lightly dust loose powder over her face for a matte finish
Nivea visage tinted moisturising cream, its a great base instead of foundation put on some power before it dries and it doesn't feel like your face is coated with make up while still retain a natural flawless look
I would suggest that your mother purchase high quality make-up. Try Lancome, MAC, Clinique...etc.. Visit any of these places, and have them set her up!
Apply Foundation, And A More Heavy Foundation To Last
i use Clinique face powder...it stays on all day, a little mascara %26amp; i always use lip pencil instead of lipstick as that too ... lasts nearly all day.

I have a little bit of acne, not terrible, I stopped using proactiv because of supposed faster aging process. I saw the infomercial and wondered if I started using it now, if it would keep my skin looking line free for longer. well i used proactiv for a really long time and it did absolutely NOTHING for me. i just switched to clean and clear acne control (it has a purple top) and my acne started dissapearing within 4 days! no joke! my friend asked me what i used when i was using proactiv and she suggested that i use the clean and clear that i use now and its sooo much better! she uses it too so its not just my skin. i dont know about the other brand you r thinkin about but just try the clean and clear with the purple top it really does work and you wont be dissapointed!!!
